The Death Prince is Back (Percico)

Chapter 4

NICO'S POV

"Hold on," Annabeth rested her hand on the edge of the ping pong table. "Your telling me, that a long lost enemy of your's, came back, is declaring war and kidnapped Percy?"

I scratched the back of my neck, the hair surrounding the nape of my neck moving away. "Um yeah..."

Annabeth dug her dagger into the ping pong table. "What kind of shit is that, di Angelo?! You have the audacity to show up at camp and expect everyone to love you again? Percy searched all over for you for a year! Then you show up and he gets kidnapped!"

Eri had her hand around Annabeth's neck in an instant. "Watch your mouth, bitch."

I sighed. "Eri, please stop choking Annabeth."

Eri glared at me before harshly throwing Annabeth down onto the wooden floor. Will stood up quickly and helped her up. Eri went back to stand beside John. I let a small smile when he took her hand and started rubbing small circles on her hand. Eri immediately relaxed.

At the head of the table, Chiron cleared his throat and sent a warning glace at me. "Anyways, where could this enemy of yours taken Percy."

"The Sea of Monsters." John said lowly. 

I nodded and said, "Erebus has a cave in the Sea of Monsters, a.k.a the Bermuda Triangle. His cave in under the water and is very dark. Since he's the husband of Nyx, its only natural that he is a god of darkness. Its hard to predict his movements and its hard to say what he might do to Percy."

Chiron nodded and rubbed his chin. "What do you believe he might do?"

"Torture him." I looked down. 

The room went quiet. Annabeths laboured breaths are the only thing that was sounded.

I stood up. "My two friends and I will be going on a quest to get him back."

Since the room was full of the cabin counselors, Jason just had to speak up. "I'm coming."

I sent him a cold glare. "Your not coming, Grace,"

"There's already three of us, so its unnecessary for you to come." Eri perked up in a harsh tone.

Jason turned and scowled at Eri. Before Eri could advance toward Jason, John dragged her out of the Big House. 

I sighed.  "Its too dangerous for you to come, Jason. That goes to everyone else who wants to come."

I gave pointed looks to Annabeth, Leo and Piper.

"For your information, I'm his best friend!" Annabeth said angrily.

Rolling my eyes, I said, "Look, if you guys all go, then we'll be at risk."

"Then just send Jason." Annabeth said.

"Why would I want Jason to come?" I said coldly. "He's the reason I left in the first place."

Jason winced, obviously feeling uncomfortable and bad about the whole situation. "Look, Nico, I didn't mean what I said back then." 

I laughed bitterly. "Oh, I don't want to hear your shit, Grace."

Jason shifted in his chair. "Nico, I was just pretty frustrated with the whole situation and I..."

He trailed off and I finished off for him. "Decided to take it out on the little gay kid?"

Mouths dropped and surprised gasps left lips. I grinned and stood up, running a hand through my hair. "Yeah, I'm sorry to tell you, but that kid is gone."

I walked out feeling like a complete boss.

"Okay, so maybe we might need they're help." John said as he twirled a leaf in his hand.

I groaned and lied back onto the soft grass. "Are you serious? An hour ago, I just told all of them off like a complete boss and now your telling me to go and get they're help?"

"Yes," John pushed up his glasses, a look of complete seriousness etched onto your face.

Eri's face loomed over mine. "It can't be that bad, right?"

"Gods, Eri, yes it is!" I groaned. "I just told them all off, walked off then found out that we don't have any transportation to get to the Sea of Monsters."

Eri thought for a second. "That sounds pretty bad."

I scowled. "Whatever, we'll find a way there ourselves."

The three of us went quiet into thought.  I groaned when I felt a presence. "Hey, just come out already."

Out of the tops of the trees fell Piper, Leo and Jason. I scowled. "What?"

"It was they're idea!" Piper shouted.

"You need our help anyways." Leo groaned. The grass below him was slightly burnt.

I groaned. "Fine, but if Jason gets in a life threatening situation, don't expect me to help him."

Three cold glares aimed themselves at Jason. Piper sighed and ran a hair through her messy brown locks. "Look, Leo and I have been worried about Percy..."

This caught my attention. "Why, what was wrong with him?"

"He would barely sleep and eat. He was constantly looking for you, or fighting with Jason at every chance he got. Percy almost flooded camp!" Piper said, glancing at Jason.

"Why would he do that?" My voice sounded so far away.

Piper blushed a bit. "We think he may have loved you."

Now I was blushing. "What...?"

Piper nodded and continued. "He'd always blame Jason and, well, when a child of Poseidon and a child of Zeus clash... Its not a pretty sight. Especially when one of them is totally pounding on the other."

"Are you serious?" I let out a strained laugh. "Why would Percy love me?"

I could feel my two best friends eyes on me. They knew I loved Percy and that, well, I was gay. (I think Nico has a thing for blondes... Solango... Jasico...) 

"You love him don't you?" Piper's words overpowered my and the words flew out of my mouth before I could stop them.

"Yes."

"Come back immediately if things get bad." Chiron warned. 

I nodded then climbed up the new and improved Argo II. Where Festus was, now sat a full body frame of a girl who looked mighty familiar. She was wearing a metallic dress and the entire statue was made of Celestial bronze. 

"Um, Leo, who is the girl in the front suppose to be? She looks really familiar..." I glanced at the statue then back at Leo.

We reached the deck of the ship and my eyes landed on a girl sitting on the railing, staring out at the lake. My mind finally clicked when I realized what Leo had done.

"Your such an idiot..." I groaned and ran a hand through my hair.

Leo frowned. "Why? She loves it!"

"You can't just put a statue of your girlfriend on the front of your ship!"

Got wi-fi here in Hawaii so I decided to update :D But I'm going to mostly spending my time everywhere else and idk why but I can't find wi-fi. So glad for McDonalds...
