In this life
Your teacher is pain
Love smashes into you from an opposite lane
Defeat becomes both sides of a coin
Nobody keeps a conversation going after, "I'm fine."
Death is mandatory
And it's also a part of life's mystery
We post about loneliness and not having friends, yet saying hi to someone on the street is taboo
And when you're at your lowest, they won't pick you up, unless they want something from you.
We live in a world where we don't give from the our hearts any more
Where we've built a fortress in place of a flaw.
Humanity is slowly slipping off our fingers,
Creating ripples in the water for a new evolution.
The same way how monkeys evolved into people, soon we'll transform into a different illusion.
And when that happens, the way we lived won't classify us as a legend.
Because reality is we're nothing but cruel to each other and unpleasant.
