Chapter4:

The week went quite okay for the Sykes and activities seemed to be moving quite fast. Perry's graduation is in few weeks time. She is finally going to go to college wow, so fast!

It was Friday evening and they all waited patiently for Brittany to arrive. Mr Skye said she would be visiting this Friday and stay till Sunday.

"Knock Knock" a sweet voice called from outside.

"I think it's her" Perry said looking at her dad in excitement.

Tye went straight to get the door. He likes being the person who gets to open the door, well I won't blame him since he came out of his mom's womb when his dad knocked to enter into the Labour room. I guess they should have Named him the "knock boy".

"Hello" Brittany said smiling sweetly at Tye. I guess you must be "the great Tye" Tye responded with a nod feeling quite like a super hero.

"Come in we've been waiting crazily to meet you especially my sis Perry" he said dragging her in. The moment Perry saw her she fell so in love with her.

"Hey, Perry, mind if I call you pey?" Britt asked stretching her hands towards Perry to get a handshake.

"No I don't mind, after all you are the first person giving me a nickname that shows how special I am to you".

Seriously did she just say that, so does that mean that nicknames aren't just given,but because you are special to that person, wow I am just finding out for the first-time. The next time anyone calls you a nickname believe me you are special to that person.

Ben came over to give Britt a hug. "Thanks for coming", he said hugging her. Perry raised her brows, she's never done that before. How could she hug the opposite sex, she thought "well they are adults so they are free to do so" she said

They walked toward the sitting room. Perry was holding Britt's bag. Ben ran to the kitchen to warm the chicken he had prepared for Britt. Perry also joined her dad in the kitchen. She took care of the main dish which was Mac and cheese.  she's an Italian babe.

"Food is ready" perry called from the kitchen feeling like one great chef. Britt and Tye walked to the dinning since it was only both of them that were sitting at the dinning table. They began to dig into their food.

"I do like this Mac and Cheese really nice" Tye said with his mouth full of Macaroni.

"Well maybe this might be what we start eating when Britt finally moves in" Ben said teasing Britt.

"Since I knew her she never stopped liking this Mac and cheese" Ben said looking towards his two kids.

They discussed while they ate and lots I mean lots were discussed. Britt and Perry packed up the dishes to wash.

After washing, pey took Britt to her room.

"So let's discuss about the bridal train and the rest of them for the wedding" Perry said to Britt with her hands up in excitement.

"Oh yeah. I decided that you'll be one of the bridal trains and if you have any other person that you think might want to be part like your friend or... yes just your friend you know" Britt informed Perry with her legs crossed while she sits on Perry's bed. Perry remembered Maya .

"Yes I do have a friend but I don't know if she would love to. She's more of an inside person you know, but I'll ask her out. Let me try giving her a call bet she wouldn't mind" Perry said bringing out her phone from her bag while she dialled Maya's number.

The phone rang and Maya picked. "Hey GF, do you mind coming to my place Britt is her and she wants to discuss something with you" Perry has told Maya about Britt during the week at school.

"Okay" Maya said in a tensed voice.

"Hello, hello can you hear me" Perry said standing up from her bed and moving towards her window. "I think the line is breaking, I hope she heard me" pey said looking at Britt .

"What was that noise hope all is well in her house?" Britt asked looking confused .

She  claimed hearing a gunshot on the phone while Perry was speaking  to Maya but Perry assumed it could be a movie or something else.

"Hey there. I ran as fast as I could to get here" Maya said entering into Perry's room and looking at Britt who has the look of something- is- not- right on her face.

"Hello you, you must be Maya" Britt said extending her hands to shake Maya.

They discussed about the bridal train stuff and Maya agreed to be part of it. They chose colour purple for the trains and Britt's friend-Harmony would be her best woman. They discussion went well and Perry joked about bringing jade over to the wedding. Recently she's been loving it whenever she hangs out with jade.

Maya headed back home as soon as possible and Britt still has this foreboding look on her face, well who knows??
