I've got something bigger

"You know , your portals always makes me feel all tingly " Steve tells me and I laugh at him.

"We're locked down out here" I hear Nat say.     "Then get to Banner. Time for a lullaby" Steve orders.   

We walk through an opening and see a guy start to run from us .         thats cute           Steve and I catch up to him easily and Steve kicks the guy making him fall down just a guy wearing a monacul walks in . He seems familiar I just cant place it.   "Baron Strucker. Hydra's number one thug." Steve spoke"

"Techincally. I'm a thug for Shiled" Strucker snarks 

"Well then technically you're unemployed " I said looking at him 

" Oh dear sweet Valerie Grey . How wonderful to see you again"

Confusion sweeps over me then realization hits . Now I feel like killing him . But I cant not until we get Loki's scepter.  I can from my perfrial vision that Steve is confused but my eyes never leave Strucker . "We'll talk about this later Stevie" 

"Where's Loki's scepter ?"  Steve asks getting back to business

Strucker sighs "Dont worry , I know when I'm beat. You'll mention how I cooperated , I hope."

"I'll put it right under Illegal Human Experimentation. How many are there ?" Steve glances at me with his eyes while asking the question , piecing two and two together. As he asks this a woman comes around the corner and throws us down the stairs with her powers . "We have a second Enhanced. Female. Do not engage"

Strucker smirks at what just happened "Youll have to be faster than that" 

At his comment I throw him hard against the wall breaking his monacol and knocking him out. "Guys we have Strucker"

"Yeah. I got something bigger" we hear Tony. Steve and I share a confused look. "Thor , I got eyes on the prize" Tony found the scepter

Tonys P.O.V

I walk into the secret room. Its filled with Chitari. It has the big Leviathan haning from the ceiling and a bunch of disected soldiers on the table. " Guys we have Strucker" Val says through the comms . "Yeah. I got something bigger" I respond mostly to myself. "Thor , I got eyes on the prize" I say as my eyes landed on the scepter dead center in the room.

A light flashes behinds me so I turn around and see the Leviathan fly at me causing me to jump back in fear. I follow it with my eyes but see something much worse. All my friends lying dead. The Hulk is snorting on the ground dying. Everyone else is laying still , not breathing. Caps shield was split into . How is that even possible. Every single Avenger other than my self is laying in rubble dead.

My eyes land on Valerie , she looks the worst out of all of them . No not our Val . Valerie is what makes this team whole. She's my best friend. She's my family . She's the whole teams rock.

I race over to her moving her head onto my knees. She has a deep slash going across her torso starting at her right shoulder and ending at her left hip. Her suit is torn in other places and cuts and bruises under them. Her face is pale except for the purple bruise on her cheek and temple. Her lip is split and dry blood matted her once Strawberry blode hair. Dried blood is all across the right side of her face. I move some of the hair away from her face as tears start forming in my eyes. Her eyes shoot open with a gasp and she grabs my wrist squeezing it as hard as she can . "You could have saved us " She says in pain then her grib losens and her whole body goes limp. Her once bright eyes now lifeless now staring back at me . "Why didn't you do more" her voice whispers in my head.

The sound of the leviathan wale makes me shackinly look up at it. I see dozens of them flying through a portal to the earth.

I jolt back and see that everything is gone and Im back in the room with Loki's scepter infront of me and no dead team mates. I turn and look at the Leviathan on the ceiling and see that it hasnt moved an inch.

I hold out my arm calling the hand to my suit so I can grab the scepter and take it.
