This book will have elements of the HxH manga and the HxH anime, so don't be surprised if some scenes from the manga is different. She wears the clothes in the pic throughout the entire arc.

Yu Yanmei watched Killua as he skated around on his skateboard near her. Her sword, Shedu, was attached to the side of her hip and her spiritual whip, Heidian, in its ring form on her left index finger. She would glare every time someone so much as looked at Killua in a weird way. One could say that she was acting like a mom, or an older sister, because that was exactly the aura she was giving off at the moment. And because of the protective glint in her eyes.

Across from her on the other side of the underground tunnel, her deep violet eyes met the yellow eyes of Hisoka Morow, who smiled at her. Yu Yanmei rolled her eyes with a scoff and looked around, before her gaze landed on the trio that just entered the tunnel.

Her gaze remained on them, even as Tonpa approached the trio, acting like a nice guy. Her eyes moved to the young boy, number 405 and who looked around Killua's age, as he seemed to believe everything that Tonpa was saying. Same thing with an older looking guy who was number 403. Her eyes then went towards the blonde boy, number 404, who felt her gaze and looked around until his grey eyes locked onto her deep violet ones.

They stared at each other for a few seconds, until she felt someone bump into her, making her eyes darken and look away from the blonde. She disappeared off into the crowd and seconds later, a scream of pain echoed through the tunnel.

The crowd parted to reveal Hisoka and Yu Yanmei standing across from the screaming participant, both looking down at him. Number 58 had no arms, seeing as they had disintegrated into flower petals.

"Behold. ❤ Now you see them, now you don't ♠ No tricks involved. ♠" Hisoka said, while number 58 was panicking about his arms.

"You should be more careful." Hisoka chided number 58, who was already dying from Yu Yanmei's 'spider threads' discreetly wrapping around his neck and growing tighter with every second that passes by.

"At least apologize when you bump into someone. You'll never know how they will react, otherwise." Yu Yanmei said, smirking slightly as she turned on her heel and walked away.

As she did, she heard Tonpa say, "Hmph...he's back. Too bad. 44 - Hisoka, the magician. He seemed like a shoo-in last year, but then he attacked an examiner he didn't...um, approve of, and was disqualified."

"And they didn't tell him to take a hike for good?" 403 asked, incredulous.

"Of course not. We get new examiners every year. They decide what the tests are and who gets to take 'em." Tonpa explained. "The Devil himself can pass the Hunter's Exam...if an examiner says it's okay. Hisoka took out 20 examinees last year, a score I'm sure he wouldn't mind improving on. Steer clear of him if you can. There are lots of others like him too, like 200 - Yu Yanmei." Tonpa pointed out the peerlessly beautiful Chinese girl, who was talking to someone through a window-like opening that had appeared next to her. The person she was talking to looked almost exactly like the male version of her. "She's just a rookie like you three, but upon her arrival, everyone knew to stay away from her when she looked at them and the aura she gave off felt like that of an apex predator, dangerous and ready to kill at the slightest wrong look. She also approached Hisoka without any fear."
