Keith POV

Classes came to an end. I had LAnce is three of my classes which were nice but I had to stay focused. 

The last bell rang as I made my way to my locked. I felt my body get bumped into. I looked over. "Sorry" I heard Lance say. He made eye contact with me as he kept walking. I looked next to him to Allura with him. He has a girlfriend. I looked back at my locker feeling my face turning red. His voice was gentle but raspy. "Hey, Keith!" Veronica said scaring me. "Jesus Veronica that's the second time today," I said looking at her. She gave me a small giggle "Sorry I've been told I just sneak up on people" she said. "Yeah you kinda do," I said smiling at her. "Anyways do you walk to school?" she asked. "Yeah. Why?" I asked. "I can give you a ride! if you don't mind Lance of course" she said. Lance? "I-I can walk!" I stuttered out. "Are you sure?" Veronica asked. "Yes, thank you for the offer though see you tomorrow," I said smiling. 

Veronica walked off as I closed my locker and walked out. "Lance stop kissing Allura and let's go!" I heard Veronica yell. I looked over seeing Allura lean off Lance and ran her hand against him leaving. Lance smiled till she turned away then I saw his face drop. I thought they were dating. I snapped out of my thoughts seeing Lance look over, seeing me staring at him. I looked away quickly and began walking home. 

"Mom I'm home!"  I yelled walking into my house. "Hey! how was your first day" My mom said walking out. "It was alright I made some friends," I said putting my bag down. "That's great! hopefully one day I can meet these friends of yours" she said. I smiled and walked back to my room. 

I couldn't stop thinking about why Lance seemed to not like Allura. He is dating her right that means they love each other. Isn't that how relationships work?
