One afternoon everybody was playing on the playground and Shadow was riding on his tricycle Rouge watching him "Uh Shadow, is this how you get the girls to notice you."
Shadow shook his head he had a pacifier in his mouth and he was wearing sunglasses.
"I dought it." Said Rouge "You can impress me sometimes."
Shadow took the pacifier out of his mouth so he can speak.
"I always impress you in fact i do that all the time that's because I'm a ultimate lifeform baby."
Rouge got on her tricycle and ride together.
Inside the house Mickey told Pluto to get the newspaper.
He was about to get the newspaper but Mortimer took it from.
"Ha-cha-cha!" he said.
"A free newspaper I couldn't get it from the newspaper stand lucky for me right here at green hill day center."
Pluto growled at him "What's your problem dog?"
He barked at him.
"Get your own paper."
"HEY!" shouted a voice.
"Who said that?" Said Mortimer.
"I did." Said Shadow.
Mortimer turned around it Shadow was standing next to Rouge.
"Well Well if it isn't Shadow the hedgehog you're the one who threw a wrench at my groin when I was babysitting your friends."
Shadow smirked at him "Oh yeah i remember that."
(Flashback)
"Hey Shadow can you hand over wrench please."
Shadow didn't like being told what to do "humph fine here."
He threw it right at his groin "OW! you little brat that really hurt." he groaned.
Shadow was laughing and so did everybody else in the kitchen.
(Flashback ended)
"Well aren't you going to say sorry to me."
Shadow glared at him and didn't say anything.
"Well i'm waiting be a good little boy say sorry to me come on do it I'll give you candy"
"No! that paper doesn't belong to you give it to pluto right now."
"Nice try kid but you can't have it."
"Give it to pluto right now or i'm calling the cops." warned Shadow.
"Go ahead and try kid but babies are too young to call the cops so back off."
Rouge stand up for herself "Hey! you heard him hand over the newspaper right now or else."
"Or else what? what are you going to do cry for your mommy and daddy."
Shadow was getting angry. "Give the newspaper right now you big jerk before you get hurt."
"Hey don't talk back to elders you naughty kids."
Mortimer ran away with his newspaper Shadow got on his tricycle and went after him.
Mortimer got in the taxi and Shadow chased after the taxi.
When he got off Mortimer noticed Shadow and ran away "Hey get back here." he shouted.
"You can't stop me kid don't ya know you're not allowed to ride your tricycle in the street."
"I was not riding it down the street i was riding on the sidewalk." Said Shadow.
He ran the buliding Shadow parked his tricycle in front of the building and ran after him.
Shadow went inside and climbed up the stairs and made it to roof Mortimer made it on the roof first before Shadow.
Mortimer was surrendered and tried not to fall off the roof.
He looked down and he gave up.
"All right kid you won hooray for the kid hooray hooray here's your dumb paper back."
He slammed it on the ground in anger.
"Yes I won." Shadow said.
Rouge was waiting for Shadow to come back.
"Finally." she said.
"Did you get the newspaper." she asked.
"Yes I gave to Pluto so he can give it to Mickey."
"So what did Pluto did to Mortimer." Rouge wanted to know.
"He made him hand over the newspaper like a dog." Said Shadow.
"Wow he showed him who's boss this is why you never mess with dogs and stealing a newspaper."
"You're right Rouge stealing is wrong and never mess with Pluto."
Shadow put a pacifier back in his mouth and play with his stuffed cat named Ricky.
Rouge played in the sandbox and Shadow winked to the viewers.
