HEYYYY!!! Happy Easter! Firstly I wanna say THANK YOU FOR 3K. I just checked up on this app to see how many reads I've gotten for the past three years and I'm in total shock still. However, if ANY were wondering where I've been,( ha prolly not but I'm gonna tell y'all anyways) I've actually been around and about doing some stuff. I actually lost my motivation for writing when I started editing this story. I know I wasn't the best writer and still not, but I still want to give my appreciation to everyone who's been showing love to not only this story but also to my other stories as well!! Now, I don't know if I've said this before but I wrote this story when I was 12 😂. Yes, I was literally a child when I wrote this book 3 years back. Now looking back at that, I've seen that I made a fair share of grammatical mistakes and from a previous comment, false information. I want to take the time again to apologize again and just say that when I was writing I used what were trusted online sources of Samoan culture. I know it's not the best idea to have used a source that is from online, however being honest, I didn't grow up living in the islands so I don't know everything. (So yes I am plastic but it doesn't make me less than ah proud Samoan girl) Even though I live in America, I still have a fair ground of knowing some aspects of Samoan culture. Anyhow, now looking at this story, I want to actually start this story over. Not deleting it but starting over each chapter. [FOR REALS THIS TIME LOLZ] I would like to ask my fellow Samoan people on this app to actually help me put together this story since I do not know entirely everything. If I am posting this story out to the WHOLE wattpad community I, too would like everyone to read TRUE information. Even if it doesn't reach far out, it's the fact that I can share a part of Samoan culture out there. I know Samoan culture has a lot to offer and show, therefore IF anyone could share information on the history (meaning how AS became a U.S. territory and Samoa became an independent nation), the language, food, clothes, holidays, tattoos, dances, or anything of Samoan culture, please DM or comment below and let me know! (For realz, don't be shy!) I hope all is well to whoever reads this! Love you all!!- Sili ❤️
(P.S. Smh, I read like a few chapters and realized I've been telling most of this stuff on American Samoa.. if that makes sense and I want to apologize to my fellow people who represent 685 (🇼🇸). It doesn't make sense for me to write Samoan culture but also not including ALL the Samoan cultures. Being honest, I know more information about American Samoa instead of Sāmoa. If you know maybe there's a difference between like what they do or anything you can ALSO DM ME OR COMMENT BELOW!! Don't be shy to say anything!!)
