In the Samoa culture, both men and women have traditional tattoos. The men usually have the traditional Samoan tattoo, to show pride in the culture or to be seen as having courage. My dad has a traditional Samoan tattoo ,except he doesn't have the shoulder one like Dwayne Johnson. They usually have it all over their body or sometimes their fore arm, just like the women. I'm hoping that one day I'll get one back in Samoa.
