A/N: Hey guys, this is my first Bakudeku story and the majority of my followers are Kiribaku shippers, so I'm not really sure how popular this story will get- (I'm a multi-shipper myself) But I'm not really writing for the views. I'm simply writing because it's something I like to do and it makes me happy. Alright we on the same page? Good. If you haven't already, please read the description, it explains a bit about what I'm writing about and other things. So if you're reading this, enjoy XD
Bakugo's POV
The sounds of food being made in the kitchen and birds chirping outside my window was enough to wake me up on the dreadful Friday morning.
Most people loved Friday, because you get to stay up late, it's the start of your weekend, you finally get out of school, blah, blah, blah. In my honest opinion, Friday sucks.
It's like the straw that broke the camel's back. All of your stress and problems are stacked up on top of each other and by Friday you're just about ready to kill someone!
I looked at my alarm clock that strangely didn't go off, and read that it was 6:30am. With a tired groan, I got up out of bed and put on my school uniform. It really annoyed me, I wish I could just wear what I want to school!
After making sure I was ready, I walked out of my bedroom and saw my grandma making some breakfast. "Oh, good morning Katsuki! Do you want some breakfast or do you need to get going already?" After once again checking the clock, I had enough time so I sat down at the counter and watched as she walked around the kitchen happily.
It had only been a few months since grandpa died and she seemed to be doing surprisingly well.
There were a few reasons why I moved in with her in the first place,
1. The old hag at my old place is annoying as fuck
2. My grandma has a way more peaceful lifestyle
3. I felt pretty bad for her that she would have to be all alone
4. I wanted to take care of her and be there just in case something happened. You never know what will happen to a lonely old lady living all by herself.
But she didn't have a problem at all with me moving in. She's honestly more like my mom than my real mom. YES. I HAVE A HEART, I'M NOT COMPLETELY EVIL LIKE EVERYONE SEEMS TO THINK!"Ya know, I can make you breakfast sometime if you ask. I came here to help YOU out ya know?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as she set the plate of eggs, toast, and sausage down in front of me.
With a small smile, she merely responded, "Oh, I know! But I like making breakfast for my grandson. He just works so hard, it's the least I can do." Ugh, she always has to do that weird old lady thing where she refers to me as 'he' and 'my grandson' as if she's talking to someone else and I'm not there.
As I silently ate, checking the clock every-once-in-awhile, my grandma sat down to do the daily investigation of my personal life. At least as I call it. 'Here we fucking go again-' "How's school been?" "Fine." "How are your little friends doing?" "Fine." "What are they like?" "Morons." "Why are you so rude towards your friends?" "I'm not rude, it's the truth. They're all fucking stupid."
After giving up on me, she stood up and put her hands on her hips with a deep sigh, "Oh Katsuki... you're just like your mother... I still don't understand how my son ended up with a woman like her... But I'm not upset of course! Because you're here!" With a nod, I finished my food, putting my plate into the sink full of warm dish water.
"Alright, I'm gonna head out now! Don't worry about the dishes, I'll take care of them when I get back." With a smile and a nod, she waved goodbye as I walked out the door grumpily.
All of the houses on my road looked pretty lively, with tons of flowers, trees, sunshine, birds and other small animals. But our house looked like an abandoned house that hasn't fallen over yet. The grass hadn't been mowed in who-knows how long, the only plants that grew were dandelions and other weeds, no animals ever wanted to come to visit our yard, it totally sucked.
