When a secret was revealed, will it tear them apart for good, or bring them unexpectedly closer? Will it be fight or flight? Will love really be enough to keep them intact or will love just drive them away more?

"Cheryl, wake up dude" Heather said as she shook Cheryl's shoulders.
"What?" Cheryl asked.
"So I wanted to talk about yesterday" she said. "I was wondering if this is a one time thing, and if it is, I'm cool with it" Heather said.
"Yeah, this is definitely a one time thing. Look, last night was amazing, but we both know that this isn't gonna work out" Cheryl replied as she shrugged her shoulders.
"I know right. Well that was fun while it lasted" Heather chuckled.
"It was"
After that they both got dressed and they went down to the dining room to and everyone was staring at them as they sat down. Penelope and Hermione looked somewhat in shock, Veronica was holding in a laugh while Max just ignored them and ate her cereal.
"Veronica and I are gonna be in the living room" Max said as she stood up from the table, not bothering to finish her cereal before dragging Veronica with her.
"So girls.." Penelope trailed off, not knowing where to start.
"Oh my God mom please don't" Cheryl said as she put her head against the table. They ate in awkward silence, no one dared to address the elephant in the room.
"I'm gonna get going, my dad wants me home" Heather said as she stood up, "Thanks for letting me stay Penelope" she said awkwardly before leaving. Cheryl showed her to the door and just as they were saying goodbye, Toni came.

"Morning Cher" Toni said as she gave Cheryl a bright smile, but that quickly erased form her face when she saw Heather beside Cheryl. Heather then kissed Cheryl's cheek before getting in her car and driving off.
"Hey Toni, wanna come in?" Cheryl offered and Toni gladly accepted.
"so what was she doing here?" Toni asked as she plopped down on Cheryl's bed while Cheryl sat on her desk.
"She just came to visit" she shrugged nonchalantly.
"So you didn't do anything?" she said, her voice wary as her demeanor oozed with jealousy and a bit of anger.
"Why do you even care?" Cheryl asked.
"Because..." Toni said as she tried thinking of a good reason to be jealous,"Well did you guys do it or not?" she said, shifting the attention back to Cheryl.
"Not that it's any of you business but we did, jeez" Cheryl replied as she crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
"Well you can't!" Toni suddenly said, her voice louder than she anticipated.
"And why not?" Cheryl asked.
"Because" Toni said stubbornly.
"Because what Toni?!" Cheryl asked irritated at Toni's childish behavior.
"Because I don't like it and I'm jealous, because I still love you" Toni said.
"It doesn't matter Toni, why are you even jealous? It isn't like we're together anyways. I'm not like you, I'm not a cheater Toni, I never cheated on you because I love you, and I still do, and I hate it, but at the same time I don't. I just miss you Toni and it really hurts, because I don't know if I can trust you again." Cheryl said with her eyes welling up with tears for the billionth time these last 2 weeks. Toni then started to walk up to her.
"Cheryl baby, give me another chance, I promise, I won't ever hurt you again, I'll do whatever you want, I'll treat you the way I should've treated you from the start, as a queen, because, Cheryl, I love you, I love you so much that it hurts. Just please give me a second chance." Toni said, once she was stood between Cheryl's legs, she took her face in her hands and kissed her forehead as she wiped away her tears.
"It's not that easy Toni, you always promise things to me and you always break them. Like our 2nd anniversary, you promised the year before that you wouldn't forget, but you did. You called me then told me you were caught up with work."
"Hey babe, I'm gonna be late tonight, Fangs asked me to cover for him" she said over the phone and as soon as the last word left her mouth, she immediately hung up on her, not even letting Cheryl talk.
So Cheryl sighed, putting down her phone with a disappointed look on her face as she started blowing out the candles. After that she put all the food she cooked in plastic containers, then she tidied up the table. Since it was obvious that Toni wouldn't be back til around 10pm, she changed out of her red dress to slip into something more comfortable, like a hoodie and sweatpants.
It was now past 10pm and Toni was still no where to be seen. So she just decided to write a note.
'Dear Toni,
I'm sorry I couldn't stay up late and wait for you, I was getting sleepy. There's food in the fridge if you're hungry, you can heat it up.
Love, Cheryl'
After she finished writing, she placed it on the table in the kitchen and went to sleep
"It's not gonna be like that time again Cheryl, I'll change, because I love you baby" Toni said.
"You promise?" Cheryl sniffled.
"Of course" she smiled, "Now, I'm sure your moms want me gone after what I did to your so I'm gonna go" Toni said.
"No, i want you to stay" Cheryl said before she could go out the door.
They ended up cuddling as they slept that night. Penelope even came in to check on Cheryl, only to see this cute scene. She had to admit, they looked pretty cute together, but Toni still hurt her daughter, so she will do anything to protect her.

So I decided to choose Stay by Rihanna cause I feel like it fits this chapter and because I love that songs. Also I love the lyrics in there that go " Funny you're the broken one when I'm the only one who needed saving", it's really good. Anyways, remember to vote and comment cause it honestly motivates me.
