DANGER | Jungkook x Reader

CHAPTER 2

You could feel his hot breath on your face as he was decreasing the distance between you two , your breath hitched , but as soon as his nose touched your nose he chuckled and glanced away, before taking a small step back and you quickly released your breath, god knows for how long you were holding onto it.

You roamed your eyes everywhere but him, he gave you a glance and then walked away to sit on his king size bed. " So you were so much desperate to see me shirtless that yo-". "Wait!!" . you cut him off mid sentence with your hand raised up." Before you come to any bad conclusion , I just came to give you this...." You handed him the box and he gave a weird glance to you as well as the box that you just shoved in his hands " ....and I didn't knew that you would be shirtless here, remember I knocked before entering." Jungkook was just looking at your panicked self, trying hard to explain yourself with a mischievous smile on. "Okay , so I guess that's it ?" He raised one eyebrow and looked at you. " Uhh yeah " you smiled and heaved a sigh. " I should go now Mr. Jeon " You walked towards the door.

 " Wait!" you were about to open the door when he called you out. " Yes ?" you turned around and gave him a questioning look " You look familiar, I guess I have seen you somewhere" he started to observe you closely and you gave him weird looks while backing away whenever he would  come close " Yeah we-" . " AHH BINGO! you are that reporter who interviewed me on the day of Vogue Magazine's cover reveal right ?" You slightly jumped when he raised his voice to cut you off and refer who you were. " Uhh yeah I'm that reporter. It's nice that you recognized me" you fake chuckled "I should go now." you bowed and was about to leave finally " Yeah bye reporter...?" he looked at you with a questioning face. "Kang Y/N . It's reporter Kang Y/N" you smiled at him " Oh bye reporter Kang , hope we'll meet again but in a better way " he chuckled and you chuckled back before opening the door and leaving.

Jungkook was moving impatiently in his hotel room . It was already midnight . He was done with everything, but the main thing for what he came here was still left to be done. Then the phone call came for which he was waiting for so long. "Is the way clear?" . The other line went silent for a while but then spoke after sighing "Yes, but you have to break through the window. The room is below your." Jungkook smirked "Okay, be ready its about to start." 

He wore his black hoodie , cap , his glasses and a black mask. He jumped on the railing of his balcony and looked around before tying the harness around his waist. He let himself hang at the level of his target's large window. There he was peacefully drinking wine while watching TV, unknown of his surrounding , not knowing what's waiting for him outside. Jungkook pressed on his earpiece and spoke "I'm going in now. Tell everyone to be ready". With that he jumped in the balcony and with the help of a glass cutter he silently made a cut on it, enough for him to get inside. Once done he stepped inside the room of the man without any warning.

"W-Who are you?" the man began to panic on seeing Jungkook."Give me the money." Jungkook said sternly to the man standing infront of him "W-What money are you talking about?". Jungkook smirked and started taking slow but large steps towards the man. When he was close enough he got to an eye level with the shorter man "You clearly know what I'm talking about , don't act innocent" Jungkook whispered in the most deepest voice. "H-Here take them" The man went inside the bathroom and brought a big briefcase and handed it to Jungkook. Jungkook took it out of his grip and checked the amount and after making sure he made his way towards the balcony to leave.

As Jungkook was about to get out , the man started laughing crazily. "You think I'm a fool?I've recorded everything in my phone. Now I just need to show it to the police" He started laughing again. Upon hearing that Jungkook smirked and turned towards the man . "Ahjushi , how should I thank you for that, hmm?" The man looked at him confused "W-What do you mean?" Jungkook chuckled darkly and walked towards the man in quick steps and threw the phone in the air from the man's grip and when it got down he caught it. "It was really stupid of you for telling me that, but thanks to you now" Jungkook smirked as took out the USB card and then broke the phone. "H-Huh? What are you doing?" Jungkook squatted down infront of the man 

"One....Two....Three" At that instant five men broke through the door and pointed their guns towards the man. The old man looked around him in fear "P-Please don't kill me!!" He started to beg Jungkook while holding his legs, Jungkook jerked off his hand and stood up while chuckling. "You should have thought about it before doing this" The man looked down in fear already knowing what's next to come. Jungkook asked his men to step back and he moved towards the man "Ahjushi, I see you don't know how to keep your mouth shut. May I help you with that?" The man started shaking in fear and backed away from Jungkook . The old man picked up the telephone kept on the night stand to call someone for help , but as he was in the process of dialing ,Jungkook took the phone from the man's hand and landed a hard punch on his face , who then stumbled back holding his face because of the strong impact.

10 minutes later.... 

The old man laid dead on the bedroom floor, he was shot right on his head, Jungkook observed the dead body with emotionless eyes and then took out his pocket knife . He grabbed a hold of the man's forearm and began carving it.

'I used to speak too much'

After engraving the man's forearm Jungkook got up and looked at it "Take care of it from now on." and addressed his men and with that he left from the large window from where he came from.

"Y/N!!" Your chief called you out as you were busy taking sip of your coffee which you got while coming to work this morning "Yes?" you approached her "There's another dead body found in this hotel. You have to go to the site for a report today " You looked at the papers that she showed  you which had the photos of the victim and your eyes almost bulged out. "Now take this and leave as soon as you can" You looked at your chief and nodded before bowing and leaving for your assigned work. 

"Taehyung-shi!!!" Your loud ass voice woke Taehyung up from his deep sleep."Why?!" he looked at you with sleepy eyes and holding his ear in which you screamed a second ago. "Looks like our Taetae didn't had enough sleep last night , hmm?" You brought your head to his level "Looks like you know already, so just let me sleep and go" You hit the back of his head which lead him to quickly wake up "Look another murder happened" He yawned and just clapped his hands "Great, now that you are done , can I sleep now?" He was going to close his eyes again when you threw a whole glass of water on his face "Aish seriously Y/N-!!!??" he was about to blow up when you cut him off "Look something is strange. The murder happened in that hotel in which we went to yesterday. And also look at the room number , its 4041 which is just below the room in which Jungkook was last night" Taehyung quickly looked at the papers you showed him , his slumber was long gone now. 

"So you mean that Jeon Jungkook is that murderer?" He looked at you while wiping the water off from his face "Of course not stupid" you hit him at the back of his head again " I meant by that what if something had happened to Jeon Jungkook. Definitely the murderer would have tried to harm him if he knew that he was so near" Taehyung gave you 'what the fuck' face " So for that you woke me up? Just straight away you should have said before that you were worried for your crush?!" You straightened up and pulled his hand for him to stand up "L-Let's talk about it later, we are getting late for the interview. Let's go!!" You cursed yourself mentally for stuttering and began dragging him towards the door, while Taehyung  was just smiling at your silliness and your messed up self.
