•Spencer's POV•
Ok I literally just found out 3 mind blowing things in a matter of an hour.
I have a twin?
I didn't really know what to say...
"Spencer, please don't be mad, I only kept it a secret to protect you. What happened was
after your dad lost his job, we found out we were expecting you and your sister. We were excited, but scared to death, so we gave up your sister for adoption. Her adopted mother told her about the whole situation about a week after you were missing, and she wanted to meet us, and it turns out she lives in New York. She's very sweet and corageous, but stubborn which reminds me of you a lot," I gave her a glare, "when her adopted parents told her about you and our family, she was a little hesitant at first, which I can't imagine your not, but she really wants to meet you, so all your 'missing' posters around Pennsylvania, well she made them. So, she's been living at our home for a couple weeks, and she'll go back to New York for Christmas and we'll go from there. She wants to know if she can come visit you sometime while your here?"
Wow, this is just really shocking.
I mean not in a bad way, but awkward. I know my mom was trying to protect me by not telling me sooner? But I wish she would've. I can't really get mad at my mother because damn, she was in tears.
"I um," I was stuck, "mom, I mean I do want to meet her, but I can't hold it in, I'm really pissed you didn't tell me earlier, and I know you were only trying to protect me, but from what, she's my sister! I think I had to the right to know earlier! I don't want her to come not while I look like this."
She kinda stood there with a sincere look on her face. I wish she would say something, anything.
"Spencer, I understand, I'm really sorry I didn't tell you earlier, she really does care about your heath. Maybe you can meet when you get out of here." I gave her a slight nod. "She gave me this to give you, personally." It was a big yellow envolope. "Thanks mom, but mom, where's dad?"
She showed a frown, "Spencer, he never really approved of you after ya know," referring to the baby, "So, your father and I, well we split up."
I breathed I'm hard, I can't believe they split up, but I'm more than gleeful. He was controlling my mother and I think she's much more happy without him. Especially because he hated Toby.
"Mom I'm so proud of you. I'm so glad," she smiled slightly, "me too Spencer."
I gave her a hug and she exited the room.
I opened the envelope carefully to find a letter and a couple of pictures. Oh my god, she looked exactly like me! The brown hair, the nose, except her eyes were blue instead of brown like mine. She was so pretty, there was also a picture of her as a baby, and I guess of her adopted family. There was a mother, a father, and two taller boys, I guess her brothers possibly.
On the front of the envelope my name was written, she even wrote like me. The letter read,
Dear Spencer,
I never have really written a letter to my twin sister before, but I'll give it my best shot. I never thought I would have a beautiful twin sister; I always knew there was something special about me, but I though It was just my dyslexia. After I found out about you I couldn't stop smiling, I finally found a cool part about my life other than my 2 older brothers and my boyfriend. When my mom Andrea told me about your family, I couldn't help but to be upset. Why would they keep you instead of me? We're you prettier? Did they like brown eyes more than blue? But I learned that it was my fate to be with my family, and I love my life, my parents love me, and I know I have you.
Anyway, I'm so glad your okay, Veronica told me about what happened when I came to stay with her, so I made posters and everything hoping to find you and I guess it payed off, your here alive and your going to have the most beautiful baby boy or girl! And before you ask I don't blame you for getting pregnant such a young age. We all make mistakes some bigger than others but we always work through them, and according to your mom, a Hastings can do anything, it's in our blood, and also Toby knows about me, he didn't tell you because your mother wanted to tell you first. He's a vary good man Spencer, he'll be a a great father. Also Melissa says she's so sorry. She wants to say it to you in person, but she feels so guilty.
I hope we get to meet soon Spencer! Also, if you feel I'm taking your place, I'm not trying, you can tell me to back off whenever you want. Haha! Can't wait to meet you! XOXO!

I didn't realize I was crying till I read her name, she sounds so wonderful then in came Toby, and he put his arm around me.
"She sounds amazing Toby!" He giggles a little,
"She is amazing Spence, you'll love her! Trust me." He planted a kiss on my forehead, "and Ali told me everything, it was so awkward!" I laughed so hard until I can feel my heart beating a 1000 times per second.
"IKR!" I practically screamed until the doctor came in
"Good evening Miss. Hastings, Mr. Cavanaugh. Sorry to bother you but I just wanted to say tomorrow you are free to go home. I'm sure you are tired of staying in bed all day, but, you will just need to make appointments for the next following days after just for observation."
YES! I CAN FINALLY GET OUT OF HERE! Toby kissed the top of my head.
"There is one more thing you may be interested in. So Spencer, you are 4 months now, so we may be able to find out the gender of your baby."
Again I smiled and Toby wrapped his arms around me. "Can we try?!?" I asked excitedly.
They both laughed, "Yes ma'am!" She said, "Let me get you set up!"
She smeared some cold gel on my growing bump and then took the tool out.
Toby grasped my hand real tight and we waited together for the announcement.
It felt like forever till she finally spoke up,
"Congratulations you are having a girl!" She exclaimed.
Toby and I laughed and he pulled me in for a kiss.
Maybe everything will be ok..:)
