Chapter 12: Unexpected

*the weekends*

*Ruby pov*

I grumbled and signed when suddenly remember what happened a few days ago. Breaking down in front of the jackass, the king's dog was embarrassing. However, he was very gentle, caring and nice. He helped me through my emotional break down which I had no recalled of. I only knew about this when I woke up in Adam's arm and beating Adam thinking he was a pervent as he explained. Which leaves my apartment in a complete mess. The mess took Weiss and me to clean for three days.

I did not believe him at first. I really did not. I meant I was Rank number 3 in hell. The top demons. Top demons do not cry... Well, I used to think that way until I saw my eyes were red and puffy from crying. I guess demons do have feeling other than anger, lust, jealousy and so on.

The reason for me crying was stupid. He told me I knew what the lady in white looked like but I could not remember it. That reason was just stupid...and very very annoying. Though I did not have to cry about it like a big baby...

Suddenly I felt a soft touch on my right hand then something held my right hand. I looked at my right and saw Weiss was holding my hand, face light up with happiness. She then pokes my cheek and giggled. I blinked with surprise but could not help to smile.

Weiss: "There is the smile I want to see. What are you thinking that makes you so grumpy?"

"The usual. Work and Redmond. "

Weiss: "Your Brother? You are still thinking that he was being a perv by hugging you? Silly Roisin. That is what siblings do."

"I know. But I still hate it!"

Weiss giggled happily. For some reason, seeing her, being around her made me so happy. So happy that it should be illegal. Not only I was very happy to see her, but she was also very happy to see me. These days Weiss was really happy to see me too. She seems to light up when I was around her almost like a light bulb, that was what Cinder said. Then Weiss would be strangely clinging towards me, more clinging when Sun was around. Like right now.

Sun: "Weiss... I want to stand next to Roisin. "

Weiss: "so you can hold her hand secretly?! No!"

Yang: "Well well well. Ain't someone being over too clinging on someone. "

Weiss: "S...s...shut up! I am just protecting her!"

Pyrrha: "Are you sure not the other way around?"

Weiss: "nope! I will protect Roisin from any guy who would chase after her!"

Everyone laughed when Weiss tried to talk confidently as she blushed red. She was not wrong. Strangely a lot of guys were chasing me. Disgusting, they must want my money. I frowned at that thought.

*Weiss pov*

I watched Roisin frowned again. I squeezed her hand gently which caused her to look at me. With my action, I was rewarded with a beautiful smile. I gave a smile of my own back to her. That beautiful smile of hers had caused boys in the school going head over hills for her. I will not allow that! Like I said! I would protect Roisin every day and today was no different.

Today was the weekends and as Roisin promised. She was treating everyone to lunch at the place Sun recommend to her. In fact, we were on the way there. Though we have two extra guests, Neptune which was invited by Sun and a friend of Yang called Blake belladonna here as well. Which Roisin did not mind treating them.

I could not help to frown a little when I saw Neptune secretly looking no openly admiring Yang. Normally when I saw him do that, I could not help to feel jealous of Yang. I hoped Neptune would look at me that way. Now I did not feel that way instead I felt sorry for him. When Yang said she did not feel the same way as him it was because Yang was in love with someone else.
