Hi everyone~ This is my first story in English, because I write everything in Czech. xd And because I am Czech, I decided to write some facts for y'all who is wondering how does a normal Czech person live here plus some facts about the country. ^^
Since today is Monday, that means 'Velikonoční pondělí' (Easter=Velikonoce, Pondělí=Monday, so basically Easter Monday) here is something about Easter in Czech republic. :D Before Easter Monday, we also have 'Velký pátek' (Big Friday) and 'Zelený čtvrtek' (Green Thursday, that means you should eat spinach or something green for lunch). On Monday noon, boys are going to girls and they hit them (Don't really hit, but u know what I mean? xd) with this thing called 'pomlázka':

Boys are singing: ,,Hody, hody doprovody, dejte vejce malovaný, nedáte-li malovaný, dejte aspoň bílý, slepička vám snese jiný." or something similar to this.
This year, because it's leap-year, girls can pour water on boys. xd
Because there's Corona, the video on the top is a video from our Czech radio 'Frekvence 1'. (Covid+Velikonoce=Covidonoce xd) It's another funny song, so you can check it if you want to.
