A week later

The entire team had to wake up early, due to the tournament taking place three Cities over. The bus will get them there by 12.

Everyone waited outside in the cold morning, the sun barely peaking over the horizon. Almost the entire team is in a dazed and sleepy state.

Tetsuyu finally walked out and did roll call. Kuroko was the final headcount and they all entered the bus. "Ok everyone. Get some more sleep. We will be at our destination in 4 hours. When we get there, let's get some lunch and a bit of practice in. Tetsuya will assign us which rounds you guys will be in." Tetsuyu but a lot of people are already falling back to sleep.

Kuroko rolled his eyes and glanced over at Vahlex and Dominic. The white-haired male was resting against the other man as he slept. Dominic rested his head on top of his.

The seat infront, Zi was reading stuff on a her phone (Yaoi. She is reading yaoi.) Shiro typing on his laptop with his glasses on.

Kuroko looked out his window as the bus began to move. He shut his eyes and suddenly the blue-haired male found himself seated in a couch in a cozy library.

A shadow sat across from him on another couch. The shadow grinned.

"Hello.... it's been a while since we did this, huh? King."

Kuroko nodded. This shadow was Kuroko's other side. More aggressive, and reckless. He calls himself Knight. Fun.

"Why are you so silent?" The shadow asked with his head resting on his left hand. His legs crossed.

The scene really reminded Kuroko of a therapist and a patient. Well, if the therapist was a complete Sociopath and the patient is a psychopath.

"Thinking about a lot lately. Most of it about the tournament." The male replied with a tired yawn.

"Always thinking. God do you know how much I hate it? You think so much it can get so annoying being in your head. Let me pilot the plane for once, pretty please!

I promise I'll try not to kill anyone this time!" Knight begged.

Kuroko snorted, "as if ill let you do that now."

"Tease."

"Whatever... what I'm saying is that you'll get to.... reek some havoc when we are on the court."

The shadow brightened up and was bouncing on the cushion with excitement radiating from him. "YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAY!" he claps like a toddler.

Kuroko chuckle, "you're such a child."

A pressure on his right shoulder broke Kuroko out of his inner world and he found a very happy Tetsuyu smiling down at him.

He had his hand resting on his shoulder.

"Talking to that shadow of yours in the inner world? He still being trying to be a fucking drama queen about every opinion someone has?"

"Up yours you little shit!" Kuroko could hear Knight scream in the back of his mind.

He smiles and looked up at his brother, "he says hello to you too."

"Anyways, I came here to tell you that were gonna be at our destination in 10 minutes. Get ready."

Kuroko raised brow. His brother saw this, "what? Something the matter?"

Tetsuya shook his head. "It's just that I've only been in my inner world for.. what felt like a couple of minutes. Maybe time works different there?"

"Hm. Strange." Tetsuyu shrugged it off and made his way back to his seat.

"Your mind has been messy lately and it's been a while since we've chatted. You've changed, of course your inner world would do that same." Knight explained as if it was so obvious.

"But... why time?"

"You know when you sleep only a couple of minutes, you dream still felt like it was more than that? Your inner world does the opposite. The outside world goes by faster. I told you. You've changed. So has your mind.

The inner world is the opposite then it was before."

Kuroko sat there taking in this info and sighed.

"Can't believe I'm doing a learning section with the actual demon on my shoulder."

"Hey, I don't see feathers stepping in anytime soon. Went to get the milk a long time ago. He's on vacation."

Tetsuya rolled his eyes as the bus stopped and all of them stepped off. It was a nice sunny day. Barely any clouds in the sky. The short male inhaled the fresh air before the group was lead to the nearest fast food place.
