THE ROOM THAT WAS filled with Jungkook's memories, photos, and college assignments was put into storage boxes. The older helping the raven pack quickly. It was almost empty, the room showing no personality.
"Where would you like this?" The older says snapping the younger out of his thoughts.
"R-right there is fine." He points towards the wall that was now empty. The wall that used to be filled with some of his photos of Taehyung. The ones he took at the tattoo parlor- or the ones he took of the older sleeping.
He looks down at the photos that were placed within his hands. He smiles and takes a deep breath.
-
There stood his parents, elegantly they stood in the middle of the airport. There was almost something that buried Jungkook within his own sanity. He had the idea that maybe he could run away with Taehyung- though it wouldn't work. His parents would find him either way and decline his only source of income.
What concerned him was how his parents were going to react with Taehyung standing right beside him. Their faces etched with displeasure.
"Why are you doing this?" Jungkook asks.
Their attention wasn't on Taehyung anymore, again nothing was wrong with the younger being bisexual heck they could care less. Although they couldn't when it came to Taehyung. Footsteps of people come and go as they stood in the busy airport.
"Why are you with this imbecile? I thought we told you Jungkook-"
"Why'd Jimin tell?" He clutches his duffel bag. Oh how there was great tension. Taehyung stays by his side guaranteeing that things will go fine. He was always there when the younger needed him the most and the Jungkook from two years ago and now felt the same.
The idea of separating from the older for a long time once again hurts him. What could he do to stop this and why would Jimin tell without any excuses?- any excuse other than his parents.
"Sweety, please we don't have time for this we need to go," Taehyung's peripheral gazes at Jungkook's tensed body as he stiffens within the uneasy atmosphere. "-Our flight will be delayed."
"What's wrong with me staying here? T-there's nothing at home." His voice weakening, oh! how brittle, he was crumbling under his parents alter-egos as they looked down upon him. Looked down at their beloved relationship.
Yet Jungkook was right, there was nothing at home- other than studying and playing games. No friends or outings; homeschooling was and is the death of him.
"Jungkook there's no reason for you to act like thi-"
"Mrs. Jeon I'm sorry to barge into this conversation, but why can't he stay?" Taehyung says. Softly Taehyung's impassive-self was breaking slowly. The air was dense with rage from both ends.
"Why does it concern you?" The venom at the tip of her tongue had been noticed, though Taehyung couldn't just stand and say nothing.
Right?
"Because I love him."
They laugh- Jungkook blushes in embarrassment at Taehyung's sweet-talking and how love rolled off his tongue in this dire situation. They laugh in disbelief, because they were the ones Jungkook would come home to cry to, everytime the older would do something quite rebellious or even get caught by the police.
"Taehyung don't flatter yourself, you are nothing but a nuisance to his life." The color drains from Jungkook's face as he hears his fathers obnoxious speech. "He does not need someone so rebellious- someone so this, in his life, can't you see that?"
"D-dont listen to him Tae.." Jungkook says his soft hands slowly making their way to hold Taehyung's. Their grip strong-felt as they stood there with so much strength.
"Why'd Jimin tell?" He says getting back to the point.
"Because we made a deal, Jungkook."
"What deal..?"
"To ensure that you and Taehyung never cross paths, but obviously it has," Anger, Jungkook was quite angry. Very disappointed in Jimin for doing something like this. He trusted him, "his brothers in a coma and he needed extra money so he came to us two years before we left."
A lie.
As if Jimin was only saying these things to his face without the real reason behind it all. The airport was calling names, names for the next flight and when it would be taking off. Not just any flight but the younger's flight back home. The new found information was jumbled in his clumsy mind. He looks at Taehyung one more time grabbing his hands into his.
"I'll meet you again okay," his speaking shaky as he watches Taehyung's face with content. Oh? The older's features shifted from nonchalant to something more remorseful. "- same place, summer. I'll meet you again okay. Please don't lose hope."
There's no words that the brunette could say other than a simple:
"You are my art, how could I forget."
The younger's smile wide with emotion eyes glitter with tears. His lips- a soft pink color- tempting to kiss. Kiss him with so much worth and love. The things he loved about the raven haired boy. The way he was so sensitive, soft- oh so delicate like his own clothes.
Before he lets go the older pulls him into a kiss. Full of loving memories and a blissful summer full of fun. The kiss feeling as though it was a cloudy daydream. Soft pinks and oranges shifting within the younger's peripheral as the sun sets.
His parents astonished and displeased by the sudden action. Pulling Jungkook by the arm wanting to leave before they were late for their flight. Emptiness; loneliness. Taehyung was feeling such feelings all over again as he watches Jungkook be stripped away from him.
"T-Taehyung you are my art, don't forget that!" The younger shouts smiling with tears running down his delicate face. His art and love was gone and there he was, the sky a night blue as he sits in one of the seats.
'In my mind there's an exhibition: an exhibition that only pictures images of you. There's nothing I could forget.'
