SPICY RICE CAKES

"I asked for chicken and beer not rice cakes" Jungkook pouts as he places the camera on the empty stool that was beside him. "If you don't shut up and eat dumbass." Jimin says placing the food onto his plate. There wasn't many people just little chats displayed in the background of their conversation. The pot steaming bubbles boiling as the rice cakes were still warming. He eats the rice cakes slowly. 'Should I tell Jimin I saw Taehyung earlier today?' He asks himself.

"Did you get the pictures for your project?" Jimin asks. The pot boils louder or maybe it's just his imagination. "Yeah I got them but I have to send them by today" Jungkook replies. He was flustered face tinted with a rosy pink. "What's wrong? Too spicy?" Jimin asks questioning the youngest body language. "I-um y-yeah spicy" he stutters over his words. Why was the raven so nervous, well he was scared Jimin would ask the dreading question; but the dreaded question was more of a response than a question.

"Jungkook I know you saw Taehyung." He says nonchalantly as if he didn't care, as if he wasn't the one who started the relationship and ended it. "Yeah so?" Jungkook starts to calm down. "You know he's a bad influence, he got you to smoke when you were 17 kook 17" Jimin says placing the chopsticks down a bit harshly. Jungkook became more stressed then calm. "It-it's none of your business, maybe he was going through some stuff-" Jungkook goes to grab excuses making things a bit worse

"Jungkook I grew up with him it's just not the same okay. He's changed" he says placing more food onto Jungkook's plate.

"Yeah he's not the same, he's changed Jimin. In a good way." Jungkook was falling again. He will fall again and again without picking himself up.

"So what are you guys? together again?" He bluntly says bringing Jungkook back into reality. The younger slumps in his seat, regretting his decision of the break up, but now that Jimin mentions it he probably should just forget about it. "I'm still - I'm still trying Jimin you know it's hard for me I'm trying." Jungkook wants to cry he has no self worth always wanting to do what Taehyung liked, always did what Taehyung wanted to do in their relationship. What if it was different, what if Jungkook got to do what Jungkook wanted to do.

Jungkook puts his hair up with a little hair tie pinning it out of his face as he eats. Listening to Jimin ramble about why he shouldn't be around Taehyung that much. 'I didn't know he worked at the museum or even hosts the museum. How was that my fault.' Jungkook thinks about what happened earlier. The touch under his chin still remaining. The way the brunette had looked at him and pulled on his lip just to see the piercing he got two year ago; it just made him so weak, so fucking weak. This exact place reminding him of the day he had his fifth date with Taehyung;

"Sorry Hyung.." jungkooks eyes lowering. "What are you sorry for baby boy?" Taehyung says getting closer, voice becoming such a brassy sound. "What are you sorry for ?" He repeats. "I don't know." Taehyung chuckles as he lift Jungkook's chin up. "Then why say sorry you didn't do anything wrong." He kisses his soft slick lips hands traveling to the younger face. Caressing with such care. The taste of cigarettes contrasting with strawberry candy. Wiping his tears with his thumb. Such soft skin; "you're still so delicate, baby." Jungkook whines in content.

"So needy for my touch."

'So needy for his touch..'

"Jungkook are you done eating?" Jimin says trying to grab Jungkook's attention. The younger was mid eating when he froze. He misses that he missed them. "A-almost." He says continuing to eat leaving Jimin a bit worried. "Jungkook I'm just trying to protect you." Jungkook only nods, although he through it was a bit much. "I think I'm done." His appetite was ruined - talking about past relationships. It wasn't neither Taehyung nor Jungkook's fault it was just, not what they wanted. Not what his parents wanted not what Jimin wanted.

"Alright I'll go pay the bill." Jimin gets up paying for the ticket. Jungkook continues to eat some more, before he gets up and leaves. He won't be home for a while not after the conversation they just had. He makes his way out the small restaurant entering the street of people. Not caring that his phone was ringing frantically each minute. Although he was very tired, Way too tired to be walking alone. He was just delusional; "why did I do this I don't even know my way back from here" he tells himself. He sits on his skateboard on the sidewalk, too tired to skate. He rests his head in his palms.

"Jungkook?"

"Mm" Jungkook only hums out a response. Tired he was annoyed with what was going on. "Why are you out here like this ?" The voice becoming more familiar. "I just wanted to okay Taehyung." The brunette was annoyed of how the younger attitude was towards him. "Babe come on. Please stand up." Jungkook looks up at him for calling him a pet name. "We aren't dating-"

"Does it look like I care, I can call you what I want. Now get up." Taehyung says in a stern voice. Jungkook didn't want him to raise his voice. The younger slowly stands up grabbing the board with him. "Why are you here by yourself anyways?" Jungkook rolls his eyes. Zero eye contact; "I am just not in the mood I'm just tired right now okay. I'll just go." Taehyung grabs his wrist. Jungkook was tired so tired that the truth slipped, he was over pouring with such sadness. "Taehyung if I stay longer I might just- I don't know,, fall in love with you again." Throat hurting, it hurt so much.

Tears threatening to release, to pour. Taehyung looks at him with such sincereness such passion. "Then fall in love with me again." But he already has and has only a few hours ago. It hasn't even been a month and here Jungkook was standing in the same position he was just two years ago.

"It's not like we could anyways."
