Your pov
Well here I am, on my own in Los Angeles, following my dream of living abroad.
I was chosen to go intern for 2 years at one of the biggest company of Los Angeles.
It was hard to make the final decision to leave my hometown and move to such a big city as Los Angeles, but this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Today was the day, my first day of my internship finally arrived. I got out of bed with a big smile on my face. I ran to my closet, out of excitement, and searched for the perfect outfit to make a good first impression.
I decided not to dress too formal otherwise it will look like I'm trying too hard, you know. So I grabbed my black high-waisted pants, a white blouse and my long beige coat.
I was so excited that I did everything twice as fast as I would normally do. When I grabbed my phone to check what time it was, I saw that it was only *8.36 am*. great, my work doesn't start until 10 am.
'Cause I didn't want to show up this early, I thought it was a good idea to stop at a coffee shop nearby.
I checked if I had all my stuff that I would need for my internship, grabbed my keys from the table and walked out of my apartment.
I walked through the beautiful streets of Los Angeles and realized how lucky I was to be here.
The coffee shop was located in a very quiet street, not a lot of people knew the place probably.
I walked into the cozy coffee shop and chose a spot near the window.
I looked around a bit and noticed how beautiful the interior is. The coffee shop had really cozy seats, plants and lots of cute lights. It was so aesthetically pleasing. My eyes stopped when I saw this guy sitting at a seat nearby mine. I couldn't believe my eyes.
It was Niall Horan.
I've had a crush on him for so long, he has been my favourite member of the band for so long.
I tried not to freak out, I really don't want to bother him so early in the morning and it was probably the only place where he has a bit of peace.
I couldn't help but stare at him...
He had the most perfect brown hair I've ever seen, the most beautiful deep ocean blue eyes with a tint of green, a really cute nose and a beautiful smile that could light up the whole room.
He turned his head and looked me right into my eyes. Oh lord, why am I so stupid. Now he caught me staring.
I freaked out so I just pretended like I was still looking at the beautiful interior.
"Beautiful place right" a voice said next to me.
"Yeah...it sure is" I replied. Trying not to sound too shaky.
He laughed a bit at my awkwardness and then walked over to the spot across from my table.
"Is this spot free" he asked while pointing at the spot across from me.
"Yes sure, go ahead" I replied and smiled friendly.
"I'm Niall, nice to meet ya. What's your name?" He asked.
"I'm y/n, nice to meet you too"
"So tell me y/n what brings you here, cause I'm sure you're not from here right?" He said.
I explained what brought me here and where I came from.
"Sounds interesting love" he said.
"So Niall, what brings you here" I asked. I, of course already knew the answer, but I thought it would be better if I just pretend like I didn't.
"How long do you have" he chuckled.
Gosh I totally forgot the time, I immediately grabbed my phone and I read *10.11 am*. (The moment you know you fucked up.....)
I looked at Niall and looked back at my phone.
Okay now I have to choose between my future at one of the largest companies of Los Angeles or Niall Horan.
I'm sure the company would understand......
"The whole day" I replied to Niall's question.
He called the waitress over and ordered a drink.
"Y/n, do you want anything?"
"No, uh no thanks I'm good" I said a bit shy.
"One latte macchiato for this beautiful lady please" he said to the waitress.
"That's really sweet of you Niall, but you didn't have to do that you know." I said when the waitress left.
"Oh I know, I just wanted to treat ya for a drink." He smirked.
Here I am, in Los Angeles, in a very cozy café, with the one and only Niall Horan. Can life get any better.
Hope you enjoyed it! I got this idea but I don't know if you guys would like it. I thought of making an second imagine book, but then based on all the songs of the heartbreak weather album.
