"Y/N, I LOVE YOU."

Mike stared at the corner of the room where
Y/N once stood, his eyes tearing up at the loss of her presence.

His words echoed solemnly as Mike now stood alone in Y/N's room.

He hoped that she heard him, she left too early for him to be able to tell if she did or not.

What was she talking about? She was going to single handedly break her and Hopper out and escape by themselves?

There's no way he was going to lose her.

As much as he knew Y/N would be angry at him for ignoring her warnings, he couldn't worry about that now. He needed to be sure she would be okay.

"Guys!" Mike stormed into the living room where everyone lay asleep, now startled by Mike's outburst. "Guys, wake up!"

"Jesus, what is it?" Lucas groans, rubbing his eyes as he pulls his arm from its draped spot around Max laying next to him in their shared sleeping bag.

"Guys, seriously!" Mike yells again, effectively startling everyone awake. "Wake the hell up!"

There was no way Mike was going to waste another second knowing that Y/N and Hopper were going to try to escape solo tonight.

There was much to be done, and Mike had a plan. Well, sort of.

"Alright, alright!" Steve yawns, his hair ruffled as he sat up from the floor's sea of blankets.

Everyone was now awake and annoyed, glaring at Mike for an explanation for waking them up.

"Guys, you'll never believe who I just saw." Mike walked over to stand in front of the living room so they everyone could see him.

"Michael Wheeler, it's very late, so I suggest you go on and hurry this up—.." Murray began to sass, before Mike scoffed and interrupted him.

"I just saw Y/N." Mike blurted, earning widened and confused eyes all around the room.

The room fell silent, everyone trying to decipher what Mike meant.

"Wait a minute, wait a minute," Joyce mumbled, rubbing her temple to try and figure out what Mike was talking about. "You actually saw Y/N?"

She was hopeful. Mike nodded furiously, his eyes wide with raw curiosity and determination.

"Yeah, she was actually here. Well, not psychically, but I could see her, she said she didn't have a lot of time." Mike began to ramble, effectively confusing the group even more.
