Chapter Nine

The whole week passed with Kaminari avoiding Bakugou and Todoroki got closer to Kaminari, becoming good friends with him
Kaminari enjoyed his presence and friendship but he also had to report to the League every night and he would come back to find Todoroki waiting for him. He was confused by why Todoroki of all people would even support him, it just confused him even more
It was Friday night and they all were in the common room doing their own thing and Midoriya was talking to Kaminari who was teaching to the green haired boy about Animal Crossing and how to play it. Todoroki was watching them from a distance thinking to himself
"Ok..you ask him out"
"Should be easy right?"
"RIGHT?"
He started having a mental breakdown to himself and processing everything that could go wrong till Momo walked over to him, she saw that he was breaking down and she gently tapped his shoulder
"Todoroki-kun are you quiet alright?"
He looked up at her and sighed a bit
"I'm gonna ask him out today..."
Her eyes lit up a bit and she smiled at him
"Really? I'm proud of you for trying!"
"Well now I might not"
"Why not? Is something wrong?"
"I, uh, what if he doesn't like me back Momo?"
She sighed and sat next to him looking at Kaminari and Midoriya who were now playing and lost in their own world
"Todoroki-kun it's ok if he doesn't, it probably means that you'll find someone else"
"Yea I guess"
"But don't be afraid to take chances in life Shoto"
He looked at her smiling because she hadn't used his first name in a while and he nodded
"Thanks Momo, I will"
She nodded at him smiling and walked back to her dorm. Todoroki gathered something courage and took a deep breath, telling himself that he was gonna be ok. After a while Midoriya got up and left Kaminari waving bye to him and headed for his dorm, leaving Kaminari and Todoroki alone
It was time, Todoroki got up, took a deep breath and walked up to the blonde
Kaminari was using his phone lost in a world of his own
"UH KAMINARI"
Kaminari jumped a bit and turned his head to look at Todoroki
"Hey Todoroki, everything good fam?"
"Uh yes yes, I just wanted to ask you something"
Kaminari turned around and looked at him questioningly smiling
"What's up?"
Todoroki walked in front of him and dropped to his level and started taking deep breaths, while Kaminari looked at him confused
"What should I say uhhh"
"A PICKUP LINE OR-?"
"GAH, JUST GO FOR IT"
"YOUSHOCKTHELIFEOUTOFMEWANNAGOOUTWITHME?"
Kaminari looked at him shocked and Todoroki went completely red, red enough you could confuse him for a tomato
Kaminari laughed a bit and looked at him smiled at him with the kind of smile were your eyes close and your mouth goes upwards
Todoroki looked at him blushing and freaking out internally
"THAT SMILE IS SO CUTEEEEE"
"GAH, ITS ADORABLE"
He rubbed at his neck, slightly blushing and looked at him
"So...tomorrow all day?"
"YEA!"
"Cool cool cool cool cool"
He got up nodding and walked towards his dorm room muttering "cool cool" to himself constantly and Kaminari got up smiling to himself and ran to his room and texted Mina, few minutes later the pink girl opened the door of his room and looked at him out of breath
"HE DID?"
"HE DID"
"OH MY GOD, TELL ME EVERYTHING, SPARE NO DETAIL"
She closed the door behind them and sat on his bed them both giggling like schoolgirls and talking really fast meanwhile with Todoroki who was in Midoriyas dorm freaking out
"Todoroki-kun maybe relax a bit?"
"I CANT, WHAT IF I MESS UP"
"I mean...I don't know anything about dating stuff but he said yes right?"
Todoroki nodded and took a deep breath
"He did, even though I asked out in such a stupid way"
"It couldn't have been that bad"
Todoroki looked at him shaking his head
"I used the lamest pickup line ever"
"It could've been worse though right?"
"I mean, I guess your right"
"You should probably go to sleep now, I'm going to training first thing tomorrow morning"
Todoroki nodded and opened the door and looked back at Midoriya
"Hey Midoriya...thank you"
"Ah, I don't do anything, but your welcome?"
Todoroki walked out of his dorm, closing the door behind and Midoriya laid in his bed thinking
"Come to think of it...I don't think I have ever felt romantic feelings before"
"I'm not attracted to anyone? At all?"
"Is that normal to feel?"
He sighed and held himself thinking like this for a bit and eventually fell asleep
While this was happening Mina and Kaminari were talking
"I'm helping you pick your outfit"
"No wait why"
"Denki, bby, you look great in general but your fashion sense isn't too amazing"
"WOW OK HURTFUL"
"IM BEING HONESTLY DENKI"
"SO MEAN ASHIDO"
"Wow, but anyway"
"See you in the morning?"
Kaminari nodded and laid in bed and waving to her and she waved back smiling and left
Kaminari stares at the ceiling, hugging a pillow and smiling like a idiot
His head had a million thoughts running through but they were all happy thoughts,he sighed and got up from the bed, grabbing his pills, while he ate his pills he texted Toga as well and put his phone to the side, dropped his head on the pillow still smiling and still really happy he dozed off
