Lloyd POV

Training has been good so far. It's been a few weeks since the ninja arrived on the island and we've been training almost every day. We've all actually become good friends. We roam our territory of the island with them, telling them stories about our village, teaching them about all the things that are unknown to them, and just having fun. But despite the fun, we all make sure to be vigilant and watch for any signs of the Overlord's armies. So far, we've only had a few run-ins and battles with them but our teachers tell us to be very careful.

We've all also gotten a bit of the hang of our powers.  Haru can now willingly turn into small animals and turn back into a human.  Ashley can heal cuts, bruises, soreness, and even wounds that would need stitches.  She's trying to work on broken bones now. Katelyn is able to control a dark version of my energy, and she can move objects with her mind.

Then there's my power.  Master of elements.  I didn't know what they meant by that at first, but now I know that it's exactly what it sounds like.  I am the master of many primary elements regarding nature.  Fire, lighting, earth, ice, water, and even my own powers.  I possess a green energy that can cause large explosions.  I've been able to slightly control it, but some of my powers are easier to control than the rest. The green light is called just energy and Katelyn's is dark energy.

For some reason, Misako and Garmadon have been ignoring me, or at least staying away from me.  I have no idea why.  I've tried asking the others about it and they all tell me the same thing,  "I'm don't know." They do the same to my sister.

I've also been trying to stay away from Kai as much as I can.  I can't stop getting these feelings every time I look at him, and I don't know what they mean!  It's frustrating.  We sometimes get flustered around each other and it feels really awkward. However, I can't ignore him when it's his turn to teach me the fire element.  Also, the ninja act kind of weird with my training.  Jay is always telling me, "Maybe one day you'll be a ninja with us!" And the others are quick to smack him on the head, like he wasn't suppose to say that or something. They are an interesting group, to say. We are currently all hanging out with each other in the forest, me and Katelyn in the trees, obviously, showing them around parts of the territory we haven't shown them.

"And this is the entrance to the maze caves," Ashley informs the colorful ninja.  "We call it that because the caves are all connected into a form of twisting mazes that you can get lost inside of in seconds.  Many people have gone missing down there, never to be seen again." She says creepily on the last part, her face in front of Jay's.  Jay gulps.

"That's why you should steer clear of the maze caves at all times." Haru explains.  "You will get lost and we will not be able to find you."

"And if by any reason you do need to go in them, you inform the group, take some sort of communication with you, and you tie a rope around your waist and to a tree.  But only under heavy circumstances." I tell them after I've jumped down onto a low branch of the tree.

"It's pretty dark down there." Nya points out.

"That's because the villagers are forbidden to go down there unless under heavy circumstances, so no one has bothered to put torches along the walls." My sister says as she joins me on the branch.

"What is it with you two and trees?" Cole asks.

"It's our thing." I say back to him.

"Never forget that." Katie adds.  We fist bump.

"Okay weirdos." Is all he says.  I decide to join the group on the ground and I catch someone looking at me through the corner of my eye.  I turn my head to see Kai's amber eyes staring at me.  He quickly averts his gaze to the forest around us. Is he... blushing?
