               "We'll be boarding for Japan soon. Yan pa rin iniisip mo." sabi ni Alas. To be honest, kaya lang naman sobrang excited ko for this trip is because gusto ko na makalimutan si Nick. Before, I didn't even want to sign up for this. I mean it was alright, kasi puntang states ganyan, the city life, or even Florida in general. Even so, I wasn't that excited, just because I've had the thought of staying in the Philippines and be with him, which makes me more happy than going out of the country. 

Pero yun nga, since he ghosted me, I had to do this and siyempre at some point in my life, gusto ko rin talaga makapuntang states. I was thinking to myself that at least, I really signed up for this. After all, I'm not disappointed with this life choice. 

                But right now, after reading his texts, I'm just in utter shock. Nakakawalang gana ganun. Where do some people collect their guts to do this? Alam ko namang it shouldn't be affecting me at all pero I can't help but get a pang in my chest. 

"Calling all Sky Priority for Delta Flight 043 bound to Narita, please be in line under number 2." and that was our cue to get in line. 

                 "Sino ba kasi yan? Si Nick na naman ba yan? Are you texting him again?" seryosong tanong ni Alas. Habang sinubukan niyang hablutin yung phone ko, pero hinawi ko ngang mabilis. 

"Alas! We're in line right now." sabi ko kasi napa-tingin samin lahat ng tao habang nasa pila. 

"Fine, just tell me who it is." sabi niya ng pabulong. 

"Okay. It's no one. It's just Nick. And no, I'm not texting him again, he was the one who flooded me with messages." sagot ko, and I can't believe he gave me the resting bitch face like he's telling me, "I knew it bitch, you could've told me."

"See? You're judging me." sabi ko sa kanya.

                    "No, I'm not. You could've simply told me who it is if he was really 'no one' like you said so." he says in defense. I just rolled my eyes at him. "Ano bang sabi niya? From coffee shop to boarding tulala ka ah." uhh, well, he may be telling the truth.

"Wala nga. I already deleted his texts." pagsisinungaling ko. 

"Asus, wala wala ka pa diyan. Kung ako na lang kasi sana yung..."

                    "May I check your passport and boarding pass please." naputol nga yung sinabi ni Alas, as I needed to pull my passport out of my bag. Medyo napahiya tuloy ako dun. 

"Ano yung sinasabi mo, Alas?" tanong ko habang papunta na kami sa ramp na naka-rugtong sa may entrance ng eroplano. 

                     "Patingin muna yang texts ni Nick." pangungulit niya, minsan nakakainis din talaga 'tong si Alas eh, masyadong mapilit. Lalo na talaga kapag sobrang curious siya. Right now, I just need him to shut up.

"Eh wala na nga."

"Akin na kasi! Patingin!" sinubukan na naman niyang hablutin phone ko at iniwas ko nga hanggang sa naitama ko yung kamay ko na hawak-hawak yung phone ko sa isang co-passenger.

"Ouch." he exclaimed. Natamaan ko kasi ito sa braso. 

"Ahh, I'm sorry!" sabi ko. Pero mas lalo siyang lumapit sakin. Mind you, he's a very tall person. Maybe 6ft2. And his eyes... they're pretty! 

But I think I'm in trouble.
