A Week Ending with a Bang

    The beginning of the week went by smoothly for y/n and Hank. Y/n had started to get unpacked and into her room at the very end of the hall. Hank really was trying to pull himself together for y/n. Every night he tried his best to cook dinner for her, with an exception to Wednesday. He and Connor had gotten a lead on the anti-Android group. So Hank brought home Pizza for dinner. Having y/n around really seemed to lift Hank's spirits. Y/n  always had something to talk about and Hank loved listening to what ever she had to say. From what Hank has gathered y/n has a small friend group of like 3-4 people, she mostly talks and gets along with her teachers, she always is carrying a book around in her messenger bag. She carries that bag every where its light grey with different patches and pins on it, even has a little blue monster character that she made up painted on the corner of it.  Y/n loved to paint, that's why Hank bought Her a new easel when she moved in. Everything seemed to be going well, that was until Friday when Connor and Hank got a permit to check the house from their lead earlier that week.
    school had just ended for y/n, she just said bye to her friend who had just hopped into her moms car. The wind blew her hair in her face, so she quickly threw her hair up in a pony tail. She made her way to the side walk at the corner of the school and waited for Hank to pick her up like he had most days that week. Once she made it she reached into her bag to call him. when he didn't answer she tried to call him again, but her phone died, "of fucking course." She threw her phone back in her bag and decided to just take the city bus home.
    the walk to the bus stop wasn't that bad, it really could have been worse. Y/n was literally the only human on the bus, a new work building was made in the area since more jobs were needed and mostly androids worked there. They all seemed to be just getting out of work.
Y/n wasn't really in the mood to talk so she pulled out her iPod and sat by herself.
   
    Hank and Connor on the other hand had been searching an old house owned by someone who literally didn't exist. Tom Marwell was no where to be found in the system. However the evidence lead them to him. "Maybe this was a bust, there's nothing fucking here." Hank said shutting the drawer to a desk. Connor however acted as if he didn't hear him "I'm sensing air flow from within this wall." He stated as he pushed a book shelf to the side to reveal a door. Hank had just walked into the room and saw what Connor had found, "of fucking course there is a secret fucking room, like a movie or some shit." He complained and Connor walked in the room. Hank quickly followed, "what the hell..." Hank walked around looking at all the picture of androids connected to a map showing where they all worked and lived. "They've been tracking them all" Connor stated. Just then they heard a duck quack, "what the fuck was that!" Hank said confused as he made his way over to a table where the noise came from. "Bunch of fucking criminals and they have their ring tone set to sound like a fucking duck." Hank said more annoyed this time. However before he could check the phone out his own phone started to ring, with out even looking at who it was he hit the lock button on his phone to silence the call. "Let's see what these fuckers are up to." Hank opened the phone to be met with a text from an contact labeled with the duck emoji. However Hank hardly noticed it, he was more concerned with the actual message.

"It's time, bomb is set and ready to go, down town bus where all the androids work, they just loaded on and pulled away, just took control over the bus controls, gonna smash it into the diner where other androids take their break."

"T-that's by the school, fuck fuck fuck!" Hank pulled out his phone to see who had called him earlier seeing. That he had missed y/n's call, "fuck shit, fuck shit! Connor we have to go NOW!" Connor quickly put together what was happening and they ran out the door. Connor had grown close to y/n over the week she was like a sister to him at this point, it didn't matter that he didn't know her for that long she was always kind to him even though he was an android. *would recommend playing the song "now" from the D:BH sound track here* They ran out the door and hank ran straight for the car, Connor however ran straight past the car and kept running when he hit the road. "CONNOR! Argh-" Hank just got into the car and raced off. Once he hit the road he was driving as fast as he could he looked out his window only to see Connor running next to him at the same speed as the car. "Holy shit!" Hank couldn't believe what he was seeing but quickly had to swerve almost hitting a car. Once he got ahold of him self again he shouted out to Connor. "Connor! I'll go this way you go that way and see if we can surround the bus!" Connor simply nodded and went around to get to the front of the bus. Hank made his turn soon after. They quickly caught up to the bus, at this point the bus was racing and everyone on it looked panicked. Hank could see y/n who was trying to keep her balance standing with a panicked look on her face. Hank tried to push harder on the gas pedal but it was already all the way down. Connor then came into view from the other side of the bus he too had a scared but determined look on his face very similar to Hank's. They had no idea how they were going to stop the bus their only hope was to get in front and hopefully it would stop. Just then the bus speed ahead of the two of them and almost out of their sight. Hank had a hard time keeping up trying not to cause a car wreck swearing in and out of the way. Connor however had no problem keeping up he could easily get between and around all of the cars.
    it was just then Hank could see red and orange take over the horizon. Screams were all that he could hear his heart stopped and he could feel tears threatening to fall from his eyes. Once the destruction came into view he slammed down on his breaks, "no................"
