Knock Knock...
Aiden was playing her favorite violin when that knock on the door just stopped her. She opened the door and looked around, only that she saw nothing.
"Well, that's odd..." Aiden muttered and closed the door again.
Knock knock...
Aiden checked the door and again, she found nothing.
"This is a little irritating..." Aiden thought grumpily and again, she closed the door, "I won't even bother playing with that person tonight."
Knock knock...
"Howard, if that's about Philosophy again, I will not bother you--Oh, good evening father..." Aiden sighed in relief and nodded.
"So, no wonder why you usually ended up locking your door..." Her father laughed at her, "I will talk to Howard tomorrow. Anyway, good night!"
"Father, you don't need to knock multiple times."
"Multiple times? I only knocked once. I have no idea what are you saying.."
"Sorry, maybe I'll figure it out tomorrow."
Aiden's father closed the door gently and walked back to his room, leaving her confused.
"Maybe Howard was still awake..." Aiden muttered, "Let me check his room for a while..."
Aiden walked out of her room without her lamp, and actually she doesn't need it due to her nightvision is clear. She went to Howard and saw him sleeping.
"But Howard is sleeping...How odd..." Aiden thought, "Maybe it's Genevive..."
After closing Howard's door, she walked to Genevive and again, she was also asleep...
"Genevive is asleep, too?" Aiden thought again, "Things are getting stranger...Now I doubt that Isadora is awake."
Aiden closed the door and walked quietly to the corridor. Just then, she felt like someone is looking at her. The corner was pitch black as what it was used to be. At first, she didn't mind at all, but when someone moved all of sudden....
"Like, I already told you to change your coat in order not to be mistaken as a camouflage!" Aiden was fully jumpscared of Prince Noctis, who was laughing at her.
After a minute, Aiden went back to her room, making a mental note of seizing Bach's chicken in front of him the next day.
