[Y/N] looks at the sunset with a smile adoring her features, and legs swinging back and forth. She was seating on a tree branch near the infamous Paopu tree. After everything that happened to them, she needed this rest, even if it was just a bit. Tomorrow will be the day their whole lives will change, they were going to the Keyblade Graveyard to take on Organization XIII.

Even though [Y/N] is always optimistic about everything, but every optimistic has its downfalls as well. [Y/N]'s worried about this fight that was bound to happen. She doesn't like fighting all that much, but she would do it if it means protecting her friends. Her smile soon turned into a sad smile with downcast eyes, eyes staring at the calm waters from below the cliff. [Y/N] didn't notice a figure walking up to her from behind.

"What happened to the optimistic [N/N]?"

[Y/N] jumped a bit before looking at the person who said that and chuckled faintly once again. "Hello to you too Riku." Riku sat next to [Y/N], who scooted a bit to give space for him, and stare at the sun still setting on the horizon. "Still. What's wrong?" Riku asked as [Y/N] sighed as she puts her arms on her legs and pulling her head down so her hands was supporting her head. "I'm... I.. I'm scared about what will happen tomorrow." [Y/N] lets out, staring at the sun. Riku looks at her at the corner of his eyes.

Its been years since Riku and Sora knew [Y/N]. [Y/N] was born in Destiny Island, like Riku and Sora. So they've known each other for years. And soon, Kairi came one day and they became good friends. All of Riku's years with [Y/N] and Sora, he never once seen them give up. Now, Riku was witnessing a pessimistic [Y/N]. Riku sighed as a chuckle came out of his mouth, which made [Y/N] to look at him, only for him to ruffle her head. "H-Hey!" She shrieks as she tries to get away from Riku's hand.

"Shoo that thoughts away, [N/N]. That's not good for you." Riku said while smiling at her. [Y/N] looks at him before looking away, trying to hide the blush forming in her cheeks from the boy. From that moment, when Riku smiled at her, her heart skipped a beat. "Why heart?! Why him? Why not Ventus or anyone? Out of everyone, it had to be Riku." [Y/N] thought, blush still adoring her cheeks.

[Y/N] knew she couldn't run away from her feelings for the silver-haired boy, but she didn't want to ruin the friendship with him. But [Y/N] knew it was possible to have feelings for your friends, example of this was Kairi and Sora. But still, she couldn't risk it. Not when a battle was happening tomorrow.

[Y/N]'s eyes trailed to the Paopu fruit from the tree and stared at it, her blush glowing even brighter. The star-shaped fruit was always a rumor among the residents of Destiny Islands. It says if two people share one, ther destinies become intertwined. That they'll remain a part of each other's lives no matter what. It truly feels like a myth, a legend. But a legend that [Y/N] wish it was true.
