Monologue

Life can be complicated, difficult and frustrating , at least that's how it started for me. not knowing who you are and where you came from can really put a damper on things, i mean lets face it its not really a life anyone would ask for. unfortunately not asking for it doesn't matter in my case i get to live it anyways.

my name is Kassie Mollens and this is my life story. i know what your thinking and yes my life wasn't a normal one, you wouldn't be reading this if it was, mine is one no soul would ever believe a story passed off as fiction. believe what you will it doesn't matter to me. I've already lived it, for me this passage of my story is over, but for you? yes, for you its just beginning.

now i should worn you this isn't a nice fairy tale where i meet a guy and fall happily and madly in love... the end. no this story is much more complex then that. this story includes death, hate and fear so if you don't want to read on then i suggest you stop and pick a different book, this book will make you rethink your friendships and the people you trust, it will change how you see the people around you. how ever if you are willing to continue then let me tell you, there is also love, true friendship and in some cases victory, sounds contradicting doesn't it?

the sky was a clear blue from what i could see out  my classroom window, there were several trees lining the football Field and each one seem to have its own singing bird that could be herd through the open window at the front of the class. it was the middle of spring so the grass was bright green and freshly cut. i always preferred the window seat, it made school seem less confining . i was in the middle of math class my least favorite and like everyday i wasn't listening for the most part but i caught a few statements and equations.

"god damn it!" i herd Alex say from beside me, bringing my attention back into the classroom

you should know Alex is my best-friend we have known each other since grade 4 and now we go to the same high school. she on the other hand likes school for some strange reason. her  hair is always messy and unkempt. her eyes and hair shared the same dark brown. she was the only one of my friends i was actually taller then.

"what did you do?" i whispered to her

"i dropped my pen"

"then pick it up."

"i cant reach it!"

"then get up an-"

"GIRLS, if you have talking to do it CAN wait until after class!" Mr.Stewart hissed from the front of the classroom. she was probably the meanest teacher at the school.... or in life (total bitch) she was short and old, she kinda looked like the grumpy old cat lady you'd see in that really creepy house down the street, with grey hair, dark green eyes and a stare that could stop a stampede of bulls, she was by far the worst teacher at the school.

"sorry Mr.Stewart" we both mumbled back

"here just used mine." i handed Alex one of my pencils

she took it without saying a word. class finally ended and the next  was lunch  we sat at our normal lunch table near the back of the cafeteria where the window were. the cafeteria was louder then ever today. buzz of one of the students party tonight was ragging through the air. the topic suddenly fell upon our talbe as well.

" holy, nick got sexy over the summer." Alex said from across the table she was sneaking peaks of nick from the caf line.

"look all you want but he isn't going to look back."
