"Hello?"

"Hey, (Y/N)! What are you doing?"

"I'm heading to work right now. I'll probably be home by five o'clock. Why? What's up?"

"I was just wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner after you're done work."

A smile crept onto your face, "Of course, Yoongi. What time will you pick me up?"

"Really? Um, maybe around seven? I'll call you when I'm on the way to your place. If you need to cancel for any reason, I'll try to find a day off during the week."

"Well if anything comes up, I'll be sure to call you right away. So don't worry too much about it, okay?"

"Okay, I'll see you later. Drive safe." BEEP!

The smile lingered on your lips throughout the rest of your drive to work. You and Yoongi have been dating for a few months now and when he could, he would ask you to go out on a date. The two of you met by coincidence. When you moved to South Korea, you were wandering around a mall and accidentally ran into Yoongi. You ended up dropping your phone and cracking the screen. You quickly apologized to him, picking up your phone.

You were about to walk away and get your phone fixed, but he stopped you and offered to buy you a new phone. You refused his offer but he was persistent, leading you to a nearby store to buy a phone. After he paid for everything, he gave you his number and you both began talking when you could. And sooner or later, he asked you on a date.

To be honest, it was pretty awkward. Yoongi was pretty quiet throughout most of the date and you were pretty quiet yourself, not having a thing for starting conversations. But after dinner, something happened that made you both start talking. Yoongi didn't talk much but said something every so often. And somehow that awkward date led to a bunch more.

Yoongi was still pretty distant with you but you understood his situation. He was part of the biggest K-Pop group in the world. It seemed to you that he didn't want you to be too attached since he's so busy. He obviously never told you that but that's what you assumed, knowing what you know about Yoongi.

You got to work in another ten minutes, checking in and going to your desk. You typed away on your computer, getting the various tasks given to you done. You really wanted the time to go by faster, your leg bouncing in anticipation. You went through your breaks, talking to a few of your co-workers, still constantly checking the time.

And finally your work day ended. You finished typing up a document before submitting to your boss, turning off your computer and grabbing your things. You practically jogged to your car, quickly unlocking it and starting it up. You weren't sure why but every single time Yoongi called you for a date, you couldn't help but to feel extra excitement. And having this extra excitement tended to make you a bit more reckless in certain situations. And today was no different.

You pulled out of your parking space and drove straight home, not paying too much attention to your speed. Luckily, you weren't caught by any police nearby so you made it home with little to no stops. You quickly parked your car, grabbing your things and running to your door, unlocking it and slamming it shut as soon as you were inside. You dropped all of your work things in the living room and raced to your room, sending a quick text to Yoongi saying that you were still up for the date.

You rummaged through some of your clothes to find the perfect dress. And you settled on a simple black dress* that you owned. You smiled, feeling satisfied with your choice. You then moved into your bathroom, taking a quick shower before changing and putting on some light makeup. Once that was finished, you fixed up your hair and looked for a small matching purse to put your things in.
