I got scared and tried to wake up Ayesha and Shanzay, but they were both fast asleep.
"Damn you both!! Sleeping like horses..!! "
I cursed them internally and got up slowly.
I started reciting Ayat-ul- kursi and moved towards the balcony.
I looked here and there and to my relief there was no one. I let out a sigh.
But then I saw something moving out of the corner of my eye.
I froze.
There was a shadow... But then it vanished.
I was confused as hell.
The balcony was not exactly in my room.
It was across the hall.
There were many guests present in the house.
It maybe any one of them.
I said to myself.
But..
Something just didn't feel right.
As if... Something bad was going to happen.
I didn't know how right I was...
