"YOU DID WHAT?!", Leia exclaims, jerking up from her armchair.
"I just couldn't tell you and we barely met this week, even during lunch hour. And Izel and I didn't even discuss it all that much except on that particular day. He just sent me a text yesterday asking whether they could move in today and you came over today and he's on his way and I just had to drop it on you.", Elleora explains, out of breath.
It took a lot of convincing for Izel to agree to stay at Elleora's house. He didn't have much of an option. They were already staying in a building with the cheapest rent in the area.
But Elleora had to reassure Izel that this would be more or less an-on paper kind of situation that he could even buy the groceries for the house and help around with the cleaning and that would be his rent of some sort. He didn't give her an answer. He listened and then eventually left saying that he had to get to work.
Elleora hadn't seen him after that. The gang didn't meet up for Lunch nor did she make time to go to the old garden. She was scared that she had driven him away. That she had in some way offended him. She was afraid that she might have crossed a line. And Elleora being Elleora had thought of this endlessly. That is, till she received a text last night.
And so now, she sat tensed in an armchair looking for some sort of advice from Leia.
"I can't believe you didn't tell me Elleora!", Leia shouted, being her dramatic self.
"How could I? I didn't think it was my place to and he hadn't agreed to it until yesterday."
"You know what, I'm actually going to leave. Just going to let you deal with this on your own.", Leia states, pretending to be upset, smirking her way to the door.
Elleora could see the evil glint in her eyes. She ran to the door.
"Leia please, I'm begging you. Please don't go. Don't do this to me.", Elleora faked, sitting on Leia's foot, as she stood outside her front door.
"Am I interrupting something?"
Elleora gets up quickly, embarrassment tinting her cheeks. She can see Izel grinning at her.
"Oh I'm just leavinnng, you kids enjoy yourselves... Oh Hiiii Bee, how you doinn?", Leia teases, giving Izabelle a peck on her way out.
"Is that all you've brought?", Elleora asks, looking at the two bags that Izel held.
"Oh yeah, we didn't get a lot when we moved here. Most of it just came with the apartment.", Izel responds, walking inside.
"I'm sorry I didn't get back to you and then just sprung back yesterday. I just had to get things sorted and I wasn't sure.."
"It's okay.", Elleora cuts Izel off.
"Are we really going to live together Ellie?", Bee asks.
"Yes, we are! Now, come with me, I'll show you your bedroom.", Elleora picks Izabelle up in her arms and takes her upstairs as Izel follows.
"You don't mind sharing a room with Bee right?", Elleora asks Izel softly.
Izel nods smiling, "Obviously, silly"
Elleora had made sure to clean up the guest room last night. The room had dark blue walls and a light blue carpet and a double bed as well as a desk in the corner and a t.v. It was very minimal but there wasn't much else that she could do.
"What would you guys like for dinner?", Elleora asks as Izel settles down in the room, Izabella jumping on the bed.
"Let me cook today. We can make a schedule later. But let me cook today.", Izel states, opening up his suitcase.
"Okay, just let me know whenever you're ready and I can help you around the kitchen." Elleora responds, leaving the room.

Half an hour later, Elleora had been trying to focus on her novel in her bed, her thoughts on some sort of high over the fact that a boy was staying in her house, that particular boy being Izel. When someone knocks on her door.
"Come in."
Izel walks in, his eyes slowly taking in everything in her bedroom and Elleora can't help but feel nervous."Uhm, I was thinking that we'd start on the food."
"Sure", Elleora responds, getting off her bed. "Where's Bee?"
"Oh, she's just watching some T.v.", Izel says, following Elleora to the kitchen.
Elleora walks around kitchen, grabbing everything he could possibly need and letting him know where what is.
She reaches up for something on the top shelf tipping on her toes when Izel comes up behind her, his hand accidentally on top of Elleora's, on the counter, trying to reach for what she was.Elleora panics trying to think of what every female lead does in a situation like this. But instead she rests back on her feet leading to Izel's body touching hers and so she whips around to face him but elbows him in the stomach instead.
"Oh My God, I'm so sorry.", Elleora apologizes watching Izel back away, his face contorted with pain.
"It's okay, uhm, just leave the rest to me.", he says, shooing Elleora out of the kitchen.
We could have shared a romantic moment, Elleora thinks, facepalming herself as she makes her way upstairs to get Bee so that they could watch television together downstairs.
By the time dinner was ready, Elleora had already set the table. She couldn't have felt happier, she didn't think that she'd ever be eating dinner with someone at that table.
"Bee, come heree, dinner's on the table!", Izel sings, setting what he made on the table. And though it looked simple, Elleora couldn't help but look at Izel, hearts even forming in her eyes.
But what's even worse is her moan when she took in her first bite.
"Could I have more of a thing for you?", Elleora murmurs, her mouth full of food.
"What does have a thing mean?", Izabelle asks Elleora, her eyes wide open.
Elleora chokes, coughing wildly, unable to keep composure.
Izel laughs quitely, whispering into Izabella's ear.
After dinner was over, Izabella had fallen asleep on the couch and Izel sat on the kitchen counter writing down a schedule as Elleora washed the dishes.
"How about, I do the cleaning and you do the laundry and dishes?", Elleora offers.
"Okay, then we cook on alternate days? And I pay for all the groceries?"
Elleora nods, drying her hands and then sitting down on the kitchen counter next to Izel."Thank You Elleora.", Izel says, looking into Elleora's eyes, his hand on top of Elleora, rubbing her thumb the way he had that day.
Elleora's eyes are on their hands and with her heart on a treadmill at the speed of a trillion, she can't seem to reply.
"Really. You had asked me to stay and you've now even given me and Bee a place to stay.Thank you.", Izel says, getting up to take Bee upstairs.
Elleora's heart stopped. Asked him to stay?
Does he know that the letter was from her?!
