"how about raisins?" i suggested to charli, for our call signs. "raisins? you're not food kaycee. you're a beautiful human being." after she said that, i looked at her funny, "so we're just gonna pretend that my nickname on your phone isn't riceball?" i crossed my arms.

"fine fine, you got me there." she chuckled. "let's just stick to donut and riceball?" she added, i just giggled, "yeah, i agree."

"y'all have fun arguing about whatever things you could argue about, i'm going to charge my phone aka i feel like a third wheel and i'm going to head out." bailey left as fast as she could, leaving me and charli alone.

"so what do you wanna do now?" charli asked in a low tone voice, it was honestly pretty hot. "hmmm... i don't know." i answered, slowly standing up and tapping charli's shoulders. "woah, what was that all about?" she looked so confused.

"tag, you're it." i then ran as fast as i could. "kaycee! you're such a baby!" she giggled, as she ran to tag me.

charli was far way behind me, and so i turned the other way and found a stone i could hide behind.

charli's pov

i saw kaycee turn the other way, and so i boosted my speed. as i took the turn, i saw big bushes and big rocks, i know you're hiding in one of these riceball. i started from the left and worked my way to the right side, and luckily i didn't have to lengthen the search, because someone forgot to straighten their hair.

i could see brown curly hair popping out from a side of a rock, and so i silently approached the rock, making no noise. i see her back, and i didn't hesitate and to back hug her. "awwww, you sneaky donut. i thought i lost you already." she chuckled, as i let go of the hug and stare at her precious hazel brown eyes.

"you'll never lose me, riceball." i promised.

she smiled at me and stood up, "well we better get going, mom is probably looking for me." she started walking out of the big rock, and i followed her.

we were about to head out the beach, when suddenly— ding, someone texted me.

"riceball, you can go ahead, let me just take this message, i'll be there with you don't worry." i assured her, as i took my phone out of my pocket, and she just nodded while smiling.

i face the other way and check the text message.
