August's point of view

I sat on the couch in my small cabin that I lived in. I had no parents, no friends, no family, but I had my pet sheep, Tulip. Yeah, I have a pet sheep.
I watched TV for a while before Tulip and I stepped outside. I was going to my job in a few hours so I needed to give Tulip some fresh air. I worked at this weird Ice Cream place called Baskin Robbins.
Oh, I haven't introduced myself, have I?
My name is August. No last name. It's just August. I'm a 15 year old girl who has a sheep for a pet that I had since I was 13. I spent my whole childhood in an adoption center so I ran away. So I could start a new life. How is that going? Terrible.
Tulip is the only family I have. I never knew my parents and I don't have any siblings. Also, I'm the only family that Tulip has. No one knew who her parents were so we had a lot in common.
Anyways, after watching TV and taking Tulip outside for some fresh air, I drove to work.
Have you ever heard the fraze, "Baskin Robbins always finds out"? Well they found out that when I was a kid, I'd steal from a lot of stores and restaurants.
What, I was hungry. And poor. I couldn't borrow and ask. So I borrowed without asking.
Anyways, I got fired from my job. So now, I need to follow the yellow dumb brick road so I can find a new job. So I packed my things so I could go back home to tell Tulip the bad/good news. Or in Tulip's language: The good/Baaaaaad news.
Bad because I'm out of a job. I need to pay for the food. Me and Tulip's. I still needed to pay for the lights and the bills.
Good because I didn't like that place. That place was a nightmare, The people that worked there was nice...sometimes, and the manager has issues.
I think you get the picture on who I am.
A no one, an orphan, a girl who owns a sheep. No one special. I hope that one day, maybe I'll find someone that's related to me and we can be a family with Tulip. But it's all just a silly teenage dream.
