I huffed and went inside his room and saw that he put a sock on the dresser.

"Hurry up, what's taking you so long?"

"You're so tiny,it should only take you like 3 minutes to get ready" I left his room, to go into Kari's

"Why you teaching bari to be nasty?" I asked him

I huffed and seen the boys were ready so I grabbed my bookbag, I headed to the door just like them until I got stopped by Jordan.

"Look, there's something that you guys don't know but me and your mom will tell you guys soon" He said

"Whatever you guys are hiding has nothing to do with me, now im finna be late" I walked passed him and caught up with Kari.

"Sorry for taking so long" I mumbled

"You straight Dayi" He told me but then we ended up stopping in our tracks when we heard Bari yelling our names.

"What happened?" Kari asked

"I forgot to tell ya'll last night I saw a super hero he was black he said this is for the hood thunderstorm is back"

"Bari, go back inside. I'm sure you was just dreaming" I told him

"No, I saw him and he told me" He put his head down. "Please believe me"

"We believe you Bari, we'll talk moe about it when we get home from school" Kari lifted his head up and he nodded

"Cool" He smiled and dapped Kari up then gave me a hug.

"You gotta stop telling him that Dayi, he probably did see him"

"You right, but I wanna see it too, if it's really real"
