Chapter 5 - 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘪𝘵

Eddy couldn't stop thinking about what he had done the other day.
Apparently today was the day that Brett would introduce him to his new..'partner'

"If I see that they hurt him.. I'll end them." Eddy said, mad.

Eddy walked to the bubble tea shop, the one where he met Brett. He took a seat and listened to the music that played. "La Campanella.." he whispered to himself.

He enjoyed that piece and listened to it daily.  But his happiness was soon squashed by the harsh smell a perfume. The sweet scent of bubble tea in the atmosphere in the room disappeared as well.

Eddy looked around to see where he smelt it from It came from a woman, who looked about in her 20's.

She stood in front of Eddy. "May I take a seat here?.." she said.  Eddy nodded "yeah.. go ahead.." Eddy said.

The woman nodded and sat in front of Eddy. "I'm Alice,  nice to meet you." She said, holding out her hand while having a smile plastered on her face. Eddy could tell she was no good.

"Eddy.." he responded, shaking her hand. Alice kept smiling at Eddy. "I'm about to meet with my friend, if you don't mind.." Alice said.

"I don't mind at all.." Eddy said, holding back the urge to leave. Something inside him told him not to.

Soon, Eddy could tell who was coming inside, just by taking a whiff of the air. "Brett.." he thought to himself.

Brett walked into the cafe and looked at both of them. "Oh! I suppose you guys already know eachother," Brett said, smiling.

"No we just met tod-" Eddy was cut off by Alice. "Absolutely! We've known eachother for a while now!" Alice said, a smile still plastered on her face.

Brett smiled. "That's great! Now we can all hang out with eachother!" Brett smiled. "I'll go order some Bubble tea for us, I'll be right back." Brett said before walking off

Alice stared at Eddy. Eddy looked back at her. "Is something wrong?" Eddy said. Alice shook her head. "No, you just seem quite handsome to me." Alice said, a smug smile on her face.  Eddy let out a fake chuckle and looked away, praying for Brett to come back soon.

Alice simply kept staring at Eddy. "I know who you are.. Eddy Chen. I absolutely know who you are.." she said.

Eddy's eyes widened but calmed himself down. "What do you mean?" Eddy asked, trying to seem innocent.  "Don't try to hide it Eddy.. I know you're the one who's been causing all of those murders" Alice said, smirking at him.

Eddy looked back at Alice. "I know.. I could just tell." Eddy said. Alice laughed. "Let me tell you something.. get in between Brett and I and I'll expose your little secret." Alice said.

Eddy rolled his eyes. "Alright then. . If it's that simple.." he said. Alice simply kept smirking, knowing what would make Eddy go insane.

"I can tell you love him.. not only that.. I can tell you're crazy for him." Alice said. Eddy chuckled. "That's because I am.." he responded.

Thankfully, Brett returned after a while. "Did I miss anything?" He asked. Both Alice and Eddy shook their heads. Brett nodded, letting out a quiet "okay."

Brett gave them their bubble tea's and took a sip of his. "So, when did you guys meet?" Brett asked, smiling, but actually hurt at the thought that they were probably close to eachother.

"2 years ago," Alice said, slightly smirking. Eddy looked at Alice as if she was insane. Alice simply ignored him.

"Wow.. that was a pretty long time ago .." Brett said, feeling more hurt after every word that Alice said.

Eddy looked at Brett and felt hurt just seeing him hurt. "Should we go to the movie theater now?" Brett asked. Alice nodded. "I wouldn't mind," she said.

They got up and got ready to leave, while Eddy just sat there in disbelief.  He expected Brett and Alice to leave without him but.. he was wrong. "C'mon Eddy! We're not leaving you behind!" Brett said, smiling at him.

Eddy looked up at Brett and smiled, getting up to stand beside Brett. "Alright let's go," he said.

Alice couldn't help but stare at the two. Everytime she tried to get in between them, they always found a way to get back with eachother.

Whenever Eddy caught Alice staring at them, he would purposely hold hands with Brett. He loved to watch Alice get mad. Not as much as he enjoyed spending time with Brett though.

They sat in the movie theater with Brett between them. Alice wrapped her arm around Brett's neck, wanting to see Eddy's reaction.

Eddy glared at her and Alice simply smiled. Eddy grabbed Brett's hand and held it. Alice glared at Eddy and Eddy could simply just laugh.

Halfway through the movie, Alice rested her head on Brett's shoulder. Eddy looked at her and 'accidentally' pushed her head off of Brett's shoulder.

"Oh! Sorry..." he said, smirking. Brett looked at Eddy confused and then at Alice. "What's going on between you guys..?" Brett asked, quietly. 

"Nothing! Don't worry about it," Alice said. Alice glared at Eddy and Eddy did it back.

Winning Brett's heart is something Eddy can naturally do. He's been with Brett for atleast 3 weeks now. It was now time for them to go their separate ways.

"It was nice hanging out with both of you!" Brett said, smiling. "Awh! It was nice hanging out with you too Brett!" Alice said, pulling Brett in for a hug.

Eddy watched them, disgusted as Brett hugged her back. Alice smirked at Eddy, as in saying "beat that"

Eddy smirked back. "Brett.." Eddy said.
Brett looked up at Eddy, due to being shorter. "Yeah?" He said.

"Get some rest and don't miss me too much.." Eddy said, smiling, soon pulling in Brett for a kiss.

Alice watched as they both kissed. She mumbled a quiet "fuck you Eddy.." under her breath.

Brett pulled away first. "W-what do you mean d-don't miss you too much?" Brett asked. "You tightly hold onto me when you're asleep at my house.." Eddy winked at him and chuckled.

"I'll see you tomorrow," Eddy said, smiling. Brett nodded and watched as Eddy walked away.

Alice went home soon after she witnessed that, angry. She cursed at Eddy in her mind. Alice sat at the edge of her bed, looking out her window. "Curse you Eddy.." she said.

"I'll get him for myself one day.. just watch.." she said.
