Faith!
Faith!
I groaned in irritation, turning on my side. Pain shot up my spine and i quickly dismissed the idea and again laid on my back.
I felt my body shaking.
Wait what? Is it earthquake?
Faith wakeup!
My God! This voice in my head won't stop!
I slid the pillow from under my head and slammed it on my face to stop the inner torture but in the next moment, it was snatched away from me leaving my face bare and vulnerable.
FAITH!
A loud scream right beside my left ear jolted me upright presenting a glorious face of my roommate which might have been a good sight if she wasn't scowling at me with puckered lips as she rested her hands on her hips.
Once she saw me alert, she removed one hand from her hip and curled her index finger, pointing it at me, "Up now!"
I grimaced in return and my eyes searched for my beloved pillow. Finally I found it lying on the carpet. Bending down, I picked it up and held it on my face once again,"Go away." I mumbled from beneath.
A gasp followed in response, "Is this girl serious?" I felt my bed dip at the foot," get up, you need to tell me what happened to you?"
Fully knowing she won't let me be unless I gave her my so called attention, I pulled the pillow away from my face and attempted to sit up and see what this hype was about. As soon as I stretched myself up, I quickly shrunk back alarmed by the accelerating pain that threatened its wake.
Noticing my distorted face, she moved closer and helped me rest my back on the headrest, "what's the matter with you, girl!" She murmured while squeezing the pillow between my back and the headrest to keep me upright.
I felt a wave of dizziness as dark blotches mirrored my vision and I felt the vein in my temples hurt badly.
"Goodness! Em-Emma, give me some medicine, please." I whispered out to her and she jumped out of the bed and soon brought me a painkiller and a glass of water.
Once done, I handed her glass back which she placed on my study table and sat back again in front of me. Not having the energy, I kept my eyes shut as I rested my head back on headrest.
Once I felt the pain from my temples dissipate, I opened my eyes and the room appeared less hazy this time. Blinking the dizziness off, I cleared my vision.
Why the hell am I feeling this way?
"You feeling good now?" Emma asked and I gave her a tiny smile which didn't extinguish the concern floating inside her eyes.
"What happened back in school, why did you pass out there?"
I looked at her for a moment to let her words sink in.
"I passed out in school?" I asked her in surprise.
"Why, you don't know that?" Slapping her forehead she gave an embarrassed smile,"oh ofcourse you wouldn't know. You just woke up," she chuckled but then her neatly plucked eyebrows furrowed in confusion," but what made you pass out in the first place?"
I didn't know what she was talking about.
Why would I pass put. The day was going fine.
"I honestly don't remember. Well I remember taking first three classes and then going to the locker room because I wanted to complete my assignment in the cafeteria and t-" I stiffened.
