Yang Xiaozhi stumbled upon her own feet as she felt like the world was collapsing.
"That bastard really got married when he clearly knows that I love him. Wang Yibo, you heartless!" She yelled throwing her bag to the couch and dropped her body on the floor.
"Does she even deserve you? She's just nobody compare to me!!! Why?! Why?!" She continued to shout hitting the couch nonstop before sobbing hard there. It took her for years to get close to him as a sister, she hoped that he would realize how much she loved him more than a brother. And he sure knew it better than anyone else but to him Xiaozhi was just a sister, no matter how hard she tried.
Mr. Yang walked down the stairs toward his daughter who almost passed out, drunk.
He sighed out looking up with his teary eyes, feeling sorry for her. He understood her the most, than anyone else. Seeing her in pain tortured him badly.
"If it hurts, why don't you stop? Or should I make you stop?"
*************
The next day, the newlywed was still in their deep sleep. Zhulin was on the couch resting her head on her arm with a thin clothes covering her small frame while her husband sleeping on the mat beside the couch.
Yibo groaned as he tried hard to open his heavy eyelids with his aching head. He cleared his throat trying to sit up wanting to drink water to ease the pain in his throat. When his vision became clear, the first thing he saw was her small face. Then what happened last night came into his mind, clear with full view. He remembered everything. His eyes darted toward her tired face and a small smile appeared on his lips. He didn't know why but thinking back to her face when he kissed her made his day.
Yibo took off the cold pad from his forehead before getting up and covered the blanket over Zhulin. She groaned turning her body but she turned to the wrong side so she fell over the edge of the couch. Yibo was fast enough to catch her body before it hit right on the mat. Yet it didn't wake her up at all. In his arms, she started to fall asleep again making Yibo to chuckle. She must be very tired.
"Is this the same girl who struggled very hard last night?" He mumbled on her head with his husky voice, likely to catch a cold already. Gently, he tried to put her back to the couch without waking her up.
With a glass of warm water and warm shower, Yibo felt better. He put on a pair of black pants and a simple white t-shirt before coming back to the living room. Zhulin finally woke up. She was folding the blanket and put it nicely on the couch.
"You're up. It looks like you're ok now." She said trying to avoid his eyes which were staring at her like laser.
"You look like a zombie." He teased and she widened her eyes at him feeling regret that she took care of him whole night while another part of her still worried upon hearing his hoarse voice.
