*(Y/N)'s POV*

After class, Tsugumi walked up to my desk.

"Hey, (Y/N)," she said.

"Um, hello?" I responded.

"Tsugu, you coming?" Tomoe called out.

"Yeah, just a sec!" she called back. "(Y/N), meet me in the student council room after school! We've got to talk about school finances!"

"...School fi-- Oh, okay," I said. That must mean something else. What could she want? Isn't she mad at me like all the others?

After School, Outside the Student Council Room...

Well, that day felt like forever. Moca showed up that next class, always keeping an eye on me.

Suddenly, someone touched me on the shoulder.
"(Y/N)," they said.

"Ack! Oh, it's just Tsugumi... What did you want?"

"Please, call me Tsugu. And can we sit in the room?"

She led me in the student council room.
Inside, was a blue-haired girl.

Wait, that's Hikawa-san! The president of the student council!

Tsugu sat next to me, while Hikawa-san simply was writing something down, as if she was in her own world.

"I know something's wrong with Ran, Moca, and you. Moca told us something yesterday..."

"What?" I asked.

"Moca told me you... you left Ran in Shibuya alone... on purpose."
Tsugu looked down at her hands.

"What? Why would she spread such a lie?"

"I knew it was a lie! I had faith in you, (Y/N). Tomoe and Himari believed Moca, and Ran... didn't say anything."

"You, of the four others, had faith in me? Oh, Tsugu, thanks," I told her.

Tsugu blushed. "Oh, ahh, it's nothing. I wanted to help a friend."

"But how do I fix things with Ran?" I asked.

"Ran is..." Tsugu started.

"Ran is boppidy boppin'!" Hina shouted.

We turned to her. Was she eavesdropping...?

"What was that?" Tsugu asked Hina.

"Ran sounds like a pretty boppin' girl! Are you wondering how to talk to her?"

"Well, yeah. Do you know Ran?" I asked.

"Kinda! But she sounds cool!" Hina told us. "Just be yourself!"

"Be... myself?" I wondered aloud.

"(Y/N) is a wonderful person, why wouldn't he be himself?"

Was that a compliment? Pretty slick, Tsugu.

"Being myself in front of Ran... Hmm, I guess it really doesn't have to be any more complicated, huh?" I told them all.

"Yeah!" Hina gave us a thumbs-up. "I saw Ran headed toward the roof."
