"Not at all idiot" he growled.

Crap. I said that loud.

"Then what were you trying to do!?" I retorted.

He slowly regained his posture and sat cross-legged.

"I said my princess is someone else. I was just taking out another doll from the basket beside you" He informed sincerely but the smirk which appeared on his face told something else.

Bullshit.

"Huh. Whatever. Well you could have asked ME to give it to you" I argued.

He just nodded with the smirk still plastered.

"And don't ever come so near to me again!! Do you get it!?" I added.

"Yeah but that wouldn't have been fun" he said.

What? Seriously?

"Getting kicked on your balls is fun for you?" I narrowed my eyes and he just made an annoyed face but that soon turned into a confusion into mischievousness.

Before he could reply anything we heard a loud thud, like that of a vessel dropping.

I looked towards the direction of the sound and saw a tray on the floor with the fruits scattered. I then moved my gaze and froze to death as I saw Mrs Rita, who had her jaw dropped and was looking at me wide eyed.

"What did you just say Natasha!! And what happened to your voice!? She questioned seriously.

Its when everything struck my mind. Did Rita heard the last sentence I spoke! Shit!! No! This can't be happening!

And I even forgot to adjust the pitch. This is just the worst day of my life and all because of this idiot!!

" Rituuuu!! I umm...I...uhh..I.."

"Stop with this stammering Nat!"

I just looked down at my lap not knowing what to say.

"Oh! Now I understand!"

I jerked my head up on Nat's words to see her throwing angry glares at Sahir.

"You only taught these fowl words to my innocent Nat right? I thought you belong to a good family and I trusted you but I was wrong" she spat furiously.

"Rituu! No he didn't do anything!" I exclaimed.

As much it was his mistake but I still couldn't let the whole blame to get on him. He's our guest afterall and its not like we are going to meet again.

"Excuse me Mam! The truth is I didn't teach her anything wrong, we were just playing with some dolls" he stood up and walked towards the door.

Thankgod he didn't told her anything more. Finally he did something good.

"And yes! Your Natasha is not as innocent as she seems to be" he turned back and gave us one last glance before going.

Wtf

"What was going on dear!?" She asked this time calmly.

"Nothing Rituu!! Don't you trust your dearesttt Nat!? Please just forget this! Okay? Okay! Thankyou!" I quickly said whatever came in my mind and ran towards the bathroom.

"But don't think that I will let this go easily Nat"

I really need to get my mind clear of what happened today. Its just 6 in the evening now. Not too late to go to my favorite place.

I quietly went to the hall, where our landline is kept and called Ashi. She picked the call on 2nd ring and I just told her to come to my house as soon as possible.

It took a lot of effort to let dad allow me to go but yeah I succeeded in convincing him.

We soon reached the park and sat on a bench.

"So you are telling me that a handsome boy was standing at your door"

"You played your silly magician game with him!!?"

"And he leaned in like super close?!"

"And then made some foolish excuses!?"

"And then Rita caught you saying something inappropriate!!?"

"And then she--"

"Oh god! Ashi calm down!!" I finally interrupted her blabbering.

She hadn't stopped freaking out since I told her everything.

"But Nat--"

"Enough Ashi! I came here to distract myself. Now I don't want to talk about it anymore!" I declared.

"Okay as you wish Nat!" She smiled.

We just sat there in silence until we saw some rustling in the bushes.

With the rustling, some murmers could be heard too.

"Who it can be!?" I muttered.

"Maybe some kids playing! You chill Nat!" Ashi pacified.

Hmm Right.

"Help!! Help!!"

We instantly stood up on listening the cries. Someone needs help.

I took a step forward when Ashi held my arm.

"It can be dangerous Nat!"She warned me.

"No Ashi!! We have to help him!"

We slowly made our way towards the bushes and halted when we saw a man lying on the floor begging to another male figure whose face we couldn't see.

"Please spare me! I didn't know that it was--"

He stopped midway when that man pulled the trigger and a shot was fired just approximately one feet besides his head.

Enough!

I don't even remember when I jumped out of the bushes and kneed down beside the very scared man.

"Don't be scared! We are there to help you!" I tried to assure him and to myself too. Getting involved in some strangers and that too with a gun which can be shot anytime at me is not a very good idea I guess.

But still, I couldn't just stand and witness someone dying in front of me.

I had prepared myself to die and began praying to god to forgive all my sins before I turned my head and looked at the very astonished face of the attacker! It was...

"Sahir!!?"

"Natasha!!" He said with a duh tone.

Okay so how is everybody?
Hope y'all are in your homes sound and safe.

First of all I am really sorry I took so much time to update. Its just that I took a break.
Yes! From past almost one month I deleted all my social media except insta (rarely used).

And honestly I spent (still spending) quarantine without getting bored.
Seriously, it was amazing! Spending time with family, playing games with siblings and some very nice web series.

And one of the series, which I watched with whole family, 'Special OPS'. It can easily be called as One of the best Indian web series! Really! The actors,screenplay, action! Everything is upto the mark! Highly recommended!
