The New Attraction

It was 11:30am on the island of Isla Nublar, the Island that Jurassic World called home. Claire Dearing, a hardworking, intelligent, and redheaded lady, was getting ready for her presentation to show some people who wanted to sponsor the new attraction that was coming to Jurassic World. Claire was in her bathroom straightening her hair out and putting on some light makeup. She was wearing a lavender long sleeve button up shirt and a black skirt that went down to her knees. Her hair was cut into a short bob with her bangs coming down to her eyebrows and slightly covering them. She was also wearing a pair of black high heels to match her skirt. Claire gathered her things and headed out the door, as soon as she left, she got a text message from Mr. Masrani.

Mr. Masrani: Hello Ms. Dearing, the presentation starts in 6 minutes. I am just making sure you are on your way. I am also messaging you to inform you that the following employees will be joining us at our presentation: Michelle Winters, Miguel Hernandez, Lowery Cruthers, Ruby Andrews, Chanya Diago, and Owen Grady.

The minute Claire saw Owen's name she groaned in disgust. "Ugh, him again?!" She said to herself, annoyed. Owen Grady was an animal behaviorist at Jurassic World who trained Velociraptors. Owen had an eye for Claire, he always looked at her admiring her beauty from afar. He would always bring her a hot cup of coffee in the morning and some breakfast. Claire liked it even though she acted like she despised him, she even started developing a small crush on him. Claire got into her car and drove all the way to the Innovation Center where they were having the presentation. She walked inside and went down a hallway leading to a large room. All the employees that Mr.Masrani said would be there were in fact all there before her. Even Owen Grady was there early, Claire felt slightly annoyed at herself for being late and letting Owen beat her. "Owen: 1 , Claire: 0" she quietly mumbled to herself in anger. Mr. Masrani saw Claire and smiled at her, he then turned around and faced the sponsors.

"Everyone, if I could have your attention please." Mr Masrani said. Everyone turned their attention to him. "I would like to introduce our manager of park operations, Ms Claire Dearing."

Everyone clapped and smiled at Claire as she set her things down and stood in front of everyone. Owen was definitely enjoying his view of her. He kept his hazel eyes on her creamy white soft skin and her fiery red hair. After the presentation was over and Claire was done talking with the sponsors, Owen finally had his chance to talk to her. He approached her and started talking.

"Hey Ms. Dearing, you did...pretty good in there." He said, complimenting her. He couldn't take his eyes off of her.

"Thank you Mr.Grady." She smiled. She couldn't take her eyes off of him.

"So, I was wondering if you're free tonight around 7:30pm?" He asked her.

"I am.....why are you asking?" She questioned.

"I was wondering if you'd wanna hang out with me later." He explained to her.

"Um.....sure I guess." Claire replied to Owen.

"Ok, and please....no itineraries, Claire." He said.
