5"Now He who has made us and prepared us for this very purpose is God,..." 2Corinthians 5:5, AMP

In this chapter you will learn about the relationship between the producer, the product, the purpose and the plan. This foundational knowledge will serve you better as the book progresses.

CASE STUDIES IN CREATION AND CONSTRUCTION

Some subjects are better introduced through illustrations. Such is true with the key elements of discussion in this chapter. It would be sufficient for some readers to simply hear that bringing something into being is often a process where different factors relate to one another. Other readers would require more light and simplified explanation. Illustrations often achieve the goal of explanation.
To begin with, let's look at some illustrative case studies:

A CASE STUDY IN CONSTRUCTION
An architect thought of a state-of-the-art business complex that would accommodate different businesses. He designed the plan for the complex, shared it with relevant parties and got the work started. Upon completion, the complex was exactly as the architect laid out in his plan. This gave him satisfaction and a sense of fulfilment.

A CASE STUDY IN CREATION
26"Then God said, "Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth. 27So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the earth.""-Genesis 1:26-28, AMP

"then the LORD God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit]."-Genesis 2:7, AMP

In studying the above case studies, we discover a number of key features and important factors:
1. The Architect
2. The Complex
3. The Reason for the Complex
4. The Blueprint for the Complex

In light of the focus areas of this chapter, the elements above would be represented as follow:
1. The Producer
2. The Product
3. The Purpose
4. The Plan

1.1 THE PRODUCER
Everything that exists has its origin. It is not by accident that words such as author, founder, maker, manufacturer, producer, etc. are part of our vocabulary. They carry meaning. There is something they are pointing to-the source or cause of something's existence.

Whatever is in existence is a product of its respective producer (creator, maker, originator), and the producer understands their product much better than the product itself, and more so than anyone else.

The producer is not only an architect behind the existence of their product-the producer is also an expert, a perfect instructor and adviser when it comes to knowing thoroughly and fully understanding their product's purpose and potential.

In the case of the construction of a business complex, the architect is the Producer (in terms of being responsible for the conception of the idea of the complex in question). On the side of creation, God is the Producer in that from Him originated the idea of creation, even the creation of humankind. God consulted with His triune self regarding the creation of humankind.

1.2 THE PRODUCT
A product is the pride of its producer. It resembles the values and principles that its producer subscribes to and holds in high regard. It speaks of and reflects the very nature of the producer. For that reason, the producer strives to give their product a level of quality that would ensure that it lasts long and finishes strong.
In construction, the complex is the product. In creation, people are the products and just as the architect in the case of construction ensured that the complex is built with the type of quality and potential to perform and deliver on the purpose for which it was constructed, God imparted us with potential that is in proportion to the life He has created us for; Genesis 1:28:
And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the earth." (AMP)
