As the day was winding to an end, the demigods hitched rides back to new york to attend an Olympus Council Meeting to discuss the end of the war. Some rode on the back of magical horses, pegasi, flying warships, or just had the gods teleport them there. The heroes started to file into the throne room, and the ones who have never been there before stared around them in awe at the beauty of the place. Everything seemed to be taken straight out of ancient Greece. Everything was glowing in beauty and power. The room took their breath away.

There was quite a large group standing before the 12 Olympian thrones in an arch around a hearth. The group was split into three different sections. Two large groups were standing behind the third. One group was wearing purple and standing in perfectly formed lines, the Half-Bloods from Camp Jupiter. The Camp Jupiter Half-Bloods were staring in awe at the gods residing in their thrones and the room around them. The Second Group was standing in an awkward clump, wearing orange and looking slightly less impressed by the gods' presence and the throne room. The third group consisted of a small group of beaten up teenagers who look like they've been through hell and back, and for some of them, they had been. The group consisted of 9 demigods, all of whom had proved their worth in the battle that they fought earlier in the day.

The 12 thrones were all occupied, and each one of the inhabitants was smiling down with pride at the group of demigods before them. In front of the thrones, the Hearth was occupied by a small child who radiated warmth and power. She was also smiling lovingly at the demigods and felt pride in her chest for her family. Behind the 12 thrones stood many different minor gods and goddesses, Roman gods and goddesses, and even a few nymphs and satyrs mixed in with them.

The god sitting on the throne in the center of the arch stood up and cleared his throat, a hush fell over the room as he spoke, "Demigods! You have fought bravely, and though you have lost many in this battle, we are proud of what you have accomplished." Zeus' eyes shone with pride as he spoke through his face remained neutral. "All of you have proved your strength and bravery today, but 9 of you showed what being a child of a god truly means."

The group of 9 looked at each other as Lord Zeus finished speaking, and a cheer rose from the two groups standing behind them. "We would like to bestow a give upon each of you for your heroics shown today." He scanned the crowd before resting his form shifted, and Lord Jupiter's eyes landed on his son. "Jason Grace!" His voice boomed throughout the throne room as said boy stepped forward. "For your bravery and strength shown when battling Gaea today, we would like to bestow portal immortality upon you. I would also like to give you my blessing. If you accept."

Jason was shocked; anyone who looked at his face could see that. He glanced at Piper, not wanting to leave her but knowing better than to refuse a gift from the gods. He took two steps forward and kneeled in front of the gods, "I accept your gifts, and thank you, my lord."

Jupiter smiled down at his son and raised his hand. Jason's body started to glow an electric blue, and Jason gasped as he felt the power flow through his body. "The immortality is very similar to the one my daughter bestows upon her huntresses. You can still die, but only in battle, and you shall never age." Jupiter spoke as he sat back down into his throne and shifted back into Zeus.

Aphrodite stood up next, "Piper McLean!" Said girl stepped forward and kneeled before her mother. "For your heroism and bravery showed today, we would like to bestow portal immortality upon you. I would also like to give you my blessing."

Piper's face looked very similar to how Jason's looked a few seconds earlier until it grew into a bright smile as she looked up at her mother, "I accept, thank you so much, mom." Piper glowed a faint pink color as her mother raised her hand and blessed her daughter and gave her immorality.
