"THALIA FAUVRE?"

Thalia looked up from her desk to be met with the same curly hair and chocolate brown eyes she had seen the day before. He somehow managed to find her for round two of his flirtation.

"If I didn't know any better, I would say you are stalking me, Benjamin Pavard," Thalia said back with a smirk, returning the cocky behavior he was showing on her first day.

"Hey, I may have had to pull a few strings to find out who you were and where your office was, but I am definitely not a stalker. Besides, we have a conversation to finish. You know, the one about you thinking I am a hero."

Thalia raised her eyebrows at that statement. So he really was back for more flirting. This boy was relentless.

"Like I was trying to tell you yesterday, I do not think you are a hero. The people of France believe you are a hero."

Ben's cocky smirk quickly returned to his face. "Oh, but you see you are apart of the people of France, which means you do believe I am a hero."

"Do you always have to find loopholes," Thalia questioned the twenty-four year old Frenchman.

"I don't know, do you think I am hero," he quickly retorted back knowing exactly what he was doing.

Thalia sighed and shook her head. Benjamin Pavard was truly something else. This really was not how she had imagined him to be. From the videos she had seen the French national team's Youtube channel, he actually seemed quite shy. Well, Thalia guessed that it just goes to show you can't trust everything you see in the media.

"Don't you have practice to get to."

"Wow Thalia, slacking on the second day? I thought you knew that practice already ended," Ben said in a disappointed tone.

She rolled her eyes at his comment. If only he knew that Thalia was never the slacking type. She was always that overachieving, straight-A student that never failed at anything in her life.

"And looks like the first point goes to me."

Thalia's faced quickly formed into one of confusion. "Points? What the hell are you talking about?"

"Our banter fight, of course," Ben replied like it was so obvious. "You dodged my question about thinking I am a hero, so the point for this round automatically goes to me."

"Who says there will be anymore rounds?"

"Oh, there will definitely be more. See you for round two." And with that, he winked and left room, leaving behind a stunned Thalia.

Yeah, Benjamin Pavard was truly something else.
