BAYERN MUNICH recently released a video on their YouTube channel that left their fans wondering some things. The video featured one of the team's newest defender, Benjamin Pavard, and a new member of the social media team, Thalia Fauvre.
Usually a Youtube video would not spark so much conversation, but this one was different. Instead of going the usual interviewing route, the club decided to take an interesting take on it by doing a fake date with the single player.
Although it was an interesting idea, some fans are wondering one thing: was the date really fake?
This is a large question due to the interviewer and the player seeming like they had an established relationship prior to the video. They fired questions and shared looks that only two people who are very close would be able to do.
So is there a budding romance right within the club?
It would make sense, as the twenty-four year old World Champion and the twenty-three old social media admin are both single according to various sources. There have been many social media interactions between the two on their on own accounts that are viewed as proof as well.
First off, there was the Instagram story that the footballer had posted of Miss Fauvre, which stated, "on a date kinda nervous." This seemed to have been debunked though, as the story was posted on the same day as the video was filmed.
However, there are other interactions prior to the video. Most of these include comments Pavard has made under some of her posts. The World Cup winner has commented things like, "looking cute," "love you too babe," and "how am I supposed to focus at practice when you're not there."
The fans are even more convinced that the two are in fact together. Almost all the comments under the video had to do with fans shipping the two. Here are just a few:
— "Anyone else feel like they are intruding on a real date?"
— "I can feel the chemistry coming out of the screen."
— "Get you someone who looks at you the way Ben looks at Thalia."
— "The way she looked at Ben and said someone with an infectious laugh right after he laughed. That's love right there."
— "So you're telling me this is all fake and they're not actually dating? I'm not buying it."
The two have not yet denied or confirmed the rumors. It looks like we are just going to have to keep wondering if these two are really in a relationship or not for the time being.
