THINGS AT WORK had been pretty slow that day, which was good for Thalia. Another one of the employs was covering the training session for the day. That lifted the weight off the twenty-three year old's shoulders, as she did not have to deal with a certain curly haired defender.
However, Thalia's boss did want to see her in her office. This caused her to worry a little bit. Had her boss noticed what was going on with Ben and the team on social media? They couldn't fire her over that, could they? She had just started working there, and it's not like anything is actually going on between her and Ben. He flirts. She rolls her eyes. That was their pattern.
She was soon going to find out her fate, as she finally arrived at the her boss's office. It's now or never Thalia thought in her head, and she knocked on the office door.
"Hi, you wanted to see me," Thalia said with a hint of nervousness in her tone, and her boss took notice.
"Yes, but don't worry you are not in trouble or anything," Caroline replied trying to ease Thalia's nervousness. "Have a sit, I just wanted to discuss a potential assignment with you."
Thalia immediately relaxed after hearing what Caroline had to say, and she proceeded to sit down in one of the leather chairs placed inside the office.
"Thalia, you were hired to be apart of a multitude parts of our social media network, and that would include our official YouTube channel," this caused Thalia to quirk an eyebrow and wonder where this was starting to go. "And seeing as we need some fresh content to spice it up, we were thinking about introducing a new series. The series in question is a fake date series. It would include doing an interview with one of the players, but in more of a date like setting which is over dinner. The questions were be less a about football, and instead more personal like something you would ask someone on a date. I was wondering if you would be able to handle the episode of the series?"
The idea interested Thalia. It seemed like it could definitely peak fan interest, and even if it did not seem like the best idea, she couldn't really tell her boss about that. She just wondered which player she would have to go on this "fake date" with.
"Of course, I could definitely be able to do it."
"Perfect! The player that you will be doing the video with will be coming in shortly to discuss the best time to shoot the video."
Thalia held her breathe at that. And of course, her fears came true when she saw a head of curly brown hair enter the room.
Thalia was going on a fake date with none other than Benjamin Pavard.
