Kitty Zalia was a child full of rage. She was always angry, with the galaxy in general. She felt it had been very unfair, that she could do better things than spend her life as a slave on some stupid backwater planet that the Empire was using her to drain of its resources.

These feelings had a tendancy to manifest themselves murderously if she didn't pay attention to not killing people. She had realised that at seven, when she had been left alone with an Overseer she had despised, had lost her temper and watched him slam into a wall.

It had been written off as a freak accident. But Kitty knew better. She wasn't sure how she had killed him, but she had and it had awakened something in her. A knowledge that she could do so much more, that they couldn't keep her down anymore...

There had been a lot of 'freak accidents' over the years, on the various Imperial projects she had been made to work on. She had learnt to control her power now, and it only happened when she had someone who didn't deserve to live alone.

But sometimes, annoyingly, she had to restrain herself completely. It was like that when a Sith came to visit. Some great hulking man in dark robes poking about, wandering around them...

She watched him suspiciously out of the corner of her eye, wondering what in the blazes was going on. He muttered to some guards, whispered then pointed at her.

She froze, suddenly nervous. What did a Sith want with her?

The guards approached and she had to push down the overwhelming urge to kill them. There were too many people here, it was too dangerous.

She let them grab her arms reluctantly, aware of the others staring, not knowing what was happening. Not that they would care. No one here cared about anything but their own survival. She had other ambitions, though. She didn't class herselves as one of these stupid people...

That might be about to end, though. She had to admit that much as they dragged her outside. But it didn't seem to be a randomised attack, after all. There was a ship outside. Someone pulled the collar from around her neck and pushed her towards it. A group of other bewildered ex-slaves, all dressed like her, all as lost as she was, huddled near the ship.

"What's happening?" She demanded of one of them, hoping someone knew something.

The Sith that had stalked after them was the one to answer, though, much to her surprise. He did so with an unpleasant smirk, though, "You're going to be Sith. Or more likely, you're going to die." He informed her.

Kitty knew she was supposed to be afraid now. But she felt more alive that she had in all fifteen years of her life.
