After many more failed attempts at persuading Avrria to focus on Sith training, Kitari ended up leaving it for a while. She let her daughter grow up. Avrria reached thirteen with Force powers and a general sense of mischief, but she wasn't a Sith.
So, after some deliberation, she sent her daughter to the Sith Academy on Korriban. She personally had hated it, but Avie wouldn't be there alone, she would have Tali, who was still busy on Korriban, to take care of her.
Even so, it was a difficult decision for Kitty, and she ended up moping about over it. Andronikos tried to assure her that their daughter was strong and would be fine. Kitty didn't doubt it, but she couldn't help but worry.
So, Aayla stepped in to distract her. The Agent turned up at Kitty's house one day and let herself in.
The Sith looked up at her in surprise, "What do you want?" She asked.
"I've been doing some spying... Of course," She commented, "And I've found a little more information on my other sisters. And yours. You know, the Republic ones." She revealed.
"Oh?" That did, at least, spark some curiosity.
"I think it's time we planned to meet up with them, don't you?" Aayla suggested.
"How?" Kitty asked. The distraction was working. She had always been curious about the side of her family that she had never met. After being an orphan most of her life, Kitty was very attached to any family she could claim. Possibly even the, 'Republic Scum.'
"I have a plan to get their attention," Aayla declared smugly.
As usual, the Imperial Agent's plan was complicated and elaborate. They could have taken the easy option and contacted them the normal way, but this would distract Kitty more and Aayla enjoyed this kind of thing more.
They set up a fake mission, pulling some political strings on Alderaan to get the attention of the Jedi. Somehow, they managed to get the right Jedi to turn up. Two of them, anyway. Kaliana, Kitty's sister, and Alina, the one of Aayla's Jedi sisters that she described as the fun one.
They met half-way through the mission, suddenly revealing their identities. To Kitty's frustration, her sister's response was to faint. But Alina, who was definitely an interesting character, was willing to talk to them. After a catch-up, Alina promised she would drag Kaliana over to a proper family reunion.
On the way back to Imperial terrority, Aayla dropped in on her twin, the Commander of Havoc Squad, completely surprised her and then managed to bully her into attending as well.
The family reunion happened not long after, and Kitty was surprised to find she got on well with everyone. Alina was entertaining. Her other Jedi sister, Anna, was polite and easy to talk to so long as things didn't get political. The Trooper, Hollietta, was also good company.
She found Kaliana quite difficult to speak to, at first. It was awkward, trying to get to know her sibling, someone she ought to already know. But the Jedi appeared to have a drinking problem, and was surprising amusing after several cocktails...
At least, she thought, she had got along with her family. And Avrria took time to attend, as well. All her family in one place.
