The Squid Romance of Red and Callie

Part 3: Red's first turf war

Red ran into the lobby hoping a turf war was happening and he was right so entered the locker room and got everything ready. "Man I can't wait for this! All my friends told me about this and it was really awesome so I can't wait!" He said to himself in his head. A boy inkling went up to him with a smirk. "Sup kid you look new here." The mysterious boy said calmly. "Yeah I'm new here I'm Red. Who are you?" Red said very confused "Well I'm Markus but you can call me Mark. Meet my team" Markus points to two other Inklings one was a girl and another was a boy. "This is Maria and Tom we're team Blast! We always use Blaster weapons." Markus said happily. Maria walked up to Red holding her Rapid Blaster. "Hey newbie I'm Maria. I'm the defender of our team." Then Tom walks up to Red holding his Luna blaster. " Hey kid I'm Tom! I am the attacker if team so I rush the enemy when their defence is down" Tom said with so much courage. "Wow you guys must have some great team Chemistry! I use a Splatroller and I heard that it covers most ink around the map." The match bell rings and the announcer tells everyone to grab their ink tanks and head to the spawn point. "Oh it's time to start the match let's go guys." Team blast and Red run to the ink tanks and grab one then go to spawn point.

The Match

Callie and Marie go to the commentary stand and introduce the teams. "All right everyone! It's time for a daily turf war Blackbelly Skatepark!" Callie said ready to watch. "Now introducing the teams! In the Green ink we have Team Blast and the new comer Red!" Marie says very happy. Red and Team Blast come out the spawn point with the green ink color. "Next we have to introduce the in the Pink color Team Pro using all pro weapons!" Callie said crazy happy. "Let's begin the match in 3! 2! 1! Go!!!" Marie said with energy. Red's team ran straight into the stage and covered up the stage with ink. Team Pro ran fast across the stage covering ink then Red saw a member of Team Pro and tried to roll over them and he did. "Yes!! I got one guys!" Red said excited. "Don't stop now man we still have 2 minutes left." Tom said with cheer. Maria soon got Splated by a Splattershot pro. "Oh no....guys I got Splated I'm heading your way Red's way now." Maria said upset she got Splated but was ready to get back to it. "Oh we have a double kill from Tom from Team Blast but Maria had been splatted".

AfterMath

TIME!! Stop inkling competitors! Callie said excited. Everyone stops and waits for Judd give the results. "Alright let's see the results of this close battle!" Judd looks at the stadium and points his flag to Team Blast and Red's team with the score 47.6% to 42.8%. "TEAM BLAST AND RED WIN!!!" Team Blast and Red dance and cheer. "Yes we did it!" They all exit the lobby and claim their winnings. "Well Red were lucky to have a great team mate like you to help us win again!" Markus gives Red and thumbs up and Team Blast leaves.
"Bye!" Red walks to his hotel and puts his money way and sits on his couch. "Wow this day was amazing I made 3 new friends and won my first ever turf war! I can't wait for tomorrow....for now I'm gonna sleep." Red falls asleep until the next day.
