Chloe's POV

I walk in with the biggest smile on my face but, I still have to confront my mom. I walk into the kitchen and there she is. My mom lets me do what I want because I am a good kid I mean I only skip school if its a really good reason and I felt that today was. She saw me and had a straight face that was different.

"Where were you all day, why didn't you go to school, and why are you home so late."I put my stuff down ready to talk to her.

"It's a long story but sorry I was gonna text you but my phone died(A/N I forgot to put in that her phone died at the park oops)."

"I have time tell me."

"Well first thing first Josh-" I felt tears but not as much because I had Kio now and he's much better.

"He broke up with me."My mom stood up and hugged me but I didn't cry I still feel strong.

"Oh honey I'm so sorry but who drove you around I called Casey she said you left with someone else,Who?"

" I uh-umm- Kio drove me around he's an amazing guy."

"Who's Kio why have I not heard of him."

 I explained everything to her except I didn't tell her about all the kissing and amazing moments. Just that he helped me a lot, I was still wearing his sweatshirt so I was hoping she wouldn't notice it.

"Well sweetie I hope you feel better just make sure to talk to me, and I need to see this guy tomorrow." I nodded grabbed a granola bar and walked upstairs to my room. 

I put my phone on charger and noticed that it was 9 wow I still had a lot of stuff to do before school tomorrow. I got some Pajama pants and a tank top and went to shower. While I was showering I started smiling like an idiot remembering everything about today. I got out after 15 minutes, put on my clothes and then Kio's hoodie because it was still chilly in my room and sat on my bed. I got in my blanket and started scrolling through Instagram and tiktok I noticed Kio posted a tiktok (the one where he lip syncs you so bad and baby I want you so bad). The caption was who am I thinking about I was about to comment 🥺😊 but before I could find the emoji my phone started ringing with face time. It was an unknown number but I picked it up with my thumb on the camera.

"What are you doing Clo, Let me see your facee." Pheww it was Kio.

"Sorryy I didn't know who it was", He had no shirt on and his hair was wet too.

"It's okay but save my number now. Did your mom say anything to you."

"Oh yeah she was fine with it because she felt bad for me I just shed like one tear and she was all like "Oh sweetie" but she said she needs to see you tomorrow soo." I giggled and he smiled.

"Oh really, I just snuck back into my room since my mom was asleep haha."

"Aww really."

"So what do you have planned for tomorrow." I rolled around on my bed confused and he laughed.

"Umm honestly I don't know I just wanted to ask your cute face out." I yawned.

"Are you sleepy you can go to sleep." He was about to hang up.

"No no no stay with me and cuddle."

"I can't cuddle you through the phone Clo don't be ridiculous."

"Then come here."

"First of all your mom will not let me in when she doesn't even know me second of all we have school Tomorrow too."

"Awwww", I pouted.

"Okay okay go to sleep I'm hanging up how bout I make it up to you by picking you up tomorrow huh?". I got up and smiled.

"Yes okay and you can meet my mom maybe thank you so much cutie."

"No problem princess, bye now go to sleep so I can pick you up in the morning."

"Ughh okay bye." and with that I hung up the phone call and went to sleep tomorrow was gonna be good I could feel it.

***Time Skip To Morning

Kio's POV

It was 6 am and my alarm started going off I smacked it almost making my phone fall on the floor School starts at 7:50 I usually wake up at 6;30 but, today I'm lucky enough to pick up Chloe and take her to school. I got dressed a little better than yesterday since I had time but I also had to meet Chloe's mom. I wore a white button down and some distressed grey jeans. I had already shaved yesterday so all I had to do was a short skin routine, fix my hair a bit, eat and drive to Clo's house.

I ran downstairs because it was already 7 time had gone by so fast. All I ate was some cereal and grabbed a granola bar and an apple just in case I got a bit hungry later. My mom was downstairs sitting in the living room and I walked by her.

"Woah Kio what's the special occasion haven't seen you wear that shirt outside of the tiktok world."

"Oh yeah mom I forgot to tell you I met this amazing girl and I'm also going out with her today so don't wait for me alright."

"Okay but Kio I gotta meet this girl that changed my son okay and don't do anything wrong."

"Yes ma'am."

I left and drove to her house.

Chloe's POV 

Ahhhhh Kio's picking me up and I don't know what to wear. I will probably just wear his hoodie and maybe these ripped jeans no I should wear- no I should wear. It. was 6:50 and all I had to do now was wear a cute outfit so I decided to wear some plain mom jeans a mustard colored top and Kio's hoodie since it smelled the best, I love his smell not in a creepy way. Kio texted me he was on his way 5 minutes ago so I quickly grabbed some air force 1s slipped them on and sat outside waiting for him.
