Always There - 12

Chloe's POV

I got on the bus after I wiped my tears and I took myself to the little reservoir 20 minutes away from my house.  I had texted Casey everything and she had said she was gonna meet me at the reservoir. I know I'm not the closest to her right now but she was all I had. I saw her walking towards me so I straightened myself out so I didn't look like I was completely broken. 

"Hi there Chloe." She pulled me in a joyful hug and I smiled a bit I was still broken. Casey was wearing a bright pink crop top and some mom jeans with air forces.

"How are you feeling- or actually wait theres a cute cafe like 15 minutes away can we go there."

"Umm uh sure if you want okay." She got up and clapped her hands her blonde hair bounced as she jumped up and down.

"Let's go."

***Time Skip

I didn't notice I fell asleep in the car but Casey woke me up and we were there. The cafe. The cafe me and Kio went to. I felt like sh*t  all the stuff that happened here It came back to me.

"Hey are you okay."

"Umm yeah I'm fine let's go inside." I heard my phone ding before I closed the car door so I grabbed it out of the car and walked into the cafe. We sat down close to the window me and Kio sat at a few days ago.

"So what should we get I've never been here."

"Oh I'll just get a basic hot chocolate what about you."

"I don't know I have to go look at their baked stuff I'm hungry I'll be right back."

"Okay." Casey left and I felt my phone ring again who is texting me, oh it was Kio 2 miss calls and 3 messages.

K- Chloe please let me explain.

K- It's not what you think.

K- Just please meet me somewhere so we can talk. Please.

C- What do you need to explain. You've done enough now please stop contacting me.

K- That's what your mom told me to do.

C- What the fu*k are you saying my mom has nothing to do with how you act Kio.

K- Please let me explain.

K- I just need 10 minutes.

Casey came back so I thought I should ask her opinion first.

"Uh Casey Kio texted me."

"Oh really what did he say."

"He wants to talk to me he said something about my mom ."

"Listen Chloe I think or at least he seems really sweet. You should give him another chance."

"I'm just gonna see what he has to say, I'll meet him at the park here If your still here can you be my ride."

"Yeah sure I'm gonna go shopping down the block I'll be here tell me if theres a problem okay."

"Okay", with that I left the cafe and texted Kio.
