Always There - 3

A/N now that I think about it this story is gonna be a lot more than 3 parts but I can't promise anything yet so 🤞🏼.

Recap- Kio is about to take Chloe to a coffee shop when someone calls Chloe.

Chloe's POV

"Chloe" someone called me so I turned still holding Kio's hand.

"Josh"Ugh I really didn't wanna see him right now I just wanna leave.

"Chloe, where are you going."

"Away from you, why do you care huh?" I felt strong I had someone at my side and I knew Josh couldn't hurt me.

"Wow someones sassy. Why are you with the new dude?""Ohhhh I see you were cheating on me ah should've known a hoe like you would-"

"ENOUGH",Kio spoke up he startled me, his fists were clenched I had to do something fast.

"Why don't you leave lover boy." Josh looked jealous but why he was gonna break up with me.

"You know what Josh you leave", I took off his sweatshirt and threw it on his face. (don't worry guys she was wearing a short sleeve underneath).

"I-I'm breaking up with you Josh leave", I felt so powerful I finally spoke up against him.

I saw Kio smirk at me and I grabbed his hand and walked into the parking lot leaving Josh behind. Yes I was gonna skip class today and go out with Kio because he actually wanted to help me, he was here for me. Because of that I had the courage to break up with my toxic boyfriend.

"Soo your done with him" I looked up at Kio I never noticed how perfect his hair and his smile was.

"Yes, Thank you"

"For what"

"Oh Kio don't act stupid thank you for being here for me, I never would've spoke up to Josh if I didn't have a friend there to help me." 

"My job here is NOT done yet, I think I was gonna take someone out for coffee, and Chloe no need to thank me I did what I thought was right." he opened the trunk of his car so we could put our stuff in and we sat in the car.

"So where to" for being a boy I just met he was gonna skip class and take me out just to help me wow.

"You chose"

"Nope I'm taking you away from school to help you so you chose."

"Uhhhh fine let's go to the little cafe 15 minutes away.

We left school and I felt great I had gotten a few texts from Casey asking me what was going on so I decided to tell her now.

Ch- Chloe

C-Casey

C- What was happening before class Clo. 

C- You left are you alright.

C- I swear CHLOE RESPOND NOW OR I WILL FIND YOU

Ch- Yeah I'm FINE now 😊

C- What happened tell me 

Ch- I broke up with Josh 

C- wow how you were to scared to a while ago

Ch- I met someone and lets just say I guess he's changed me I felt strong with him by my side. I don't know I sound cheesy huh 😂😂

C- well yes you are cheesy but when we meet up I gotta meet this mystery boy.

Ch- oh shut up. talk to ya soon bye ❤️

C- Yep bye❤️❤️

Our car ride was pretty quiet the radio was faintly playing in the background but most of the time I was on my phone because I didn't know what to say. I mean c'mon what are you supposed to say in this situation. I was speechless but me and Kio just exchanged a few glances and smiled.  

 ****Time skip to the cafe

Chloe's POV

We got to the cafe it was so pretty and it smelled delicious in there. Kio held my hand and took me to a seating area in front of a window.

"So what do you want me to go get you." he asked me.

"Oh umm... everything looks so good but I'll have a iced coffee with one sugar please also a chocolate croissant, and here take my card." I handed him my credit card but he kept insisting that he pay because it was his treat so I let him.

He came back after giving our orders and sat in front me.

"How are you now."

"I'm great Kio, I'm so sorry for dragging you into this mess." He looked up at me his eyes were sparkling in the sunlight, he put his hand on my hand.

"Don't ever be sorry for whatever happened today. Plus I like you Chloe and I wanted to help now please stop with your apologies."

 A smile widened on my face and I tried to not blush but he said he liked me. OMG he said he liked me wait wait wait like in a friend way or more than that OMG Clo your catching feelings you cannot yet you just broke up with your boyfriend. BUT hes just so cute. My head was exploding but I just gave him a smile, nodded and grabbed his hand.

The server came to give us or food so we split apart our hands to grab our food and drink. I didn't want to let go of his hand.

"Alrighty here I have one hot chocolate and one iced coffee also have a banana bread and a chocolate croissant. Enjoy." 

"Mmmm this fancy hot chocolate looks so good, let me try some."

"No Kio first I have to take a pic",he pouted at me god he looked so cute.

"Fine take your pic."

"Okay there you go all yours." 

The stuff was actually really good once were finished we left.

"Hey Chloe you wanna walk to the park its just across the street we can sit there for a bit if you want or I can drop you off at home your choice."

"Sure let's go to the park", it was starting to get windy I didn't realize how close to sunset it was  getting. I was getting cold but I wanted to spend even more time with Kio. 

A/N OMG you guys this is an exact 1000 words I did it. I didn't leave much of a cliffhanger but next chapter will be their park hangout. Hope you guys are enjoying this so far. IK there wasn't a lot of talking but the next chapter will hopefully have a lot of dialogue.
